Chapter 5 Pain

Waking up beside noiz made me remember what happened, having my arms wrapped around him kept me warm. Because he was a wolf he produced body heat well, snuggling up to him I felt his tail around my leg. Looking up at the sleeping blond I wondered why noiz even liked me, he told me directly to not let anyone else, but him, touch me. Blushing at the thought he began to stir in his sleep, when he opened his eyes I went back into the position I woke up in. Hearing the blond wake up I felt his hand touch my cheek, as his thumb carrassed my cheek I looked up at him. "Morning" he said with a smile, "morning" I responded sitting up beside him.
Looking at the time I stumbled out of bed, falling to the floor, from a sore back, I quickly got dressed. "Shit I'm late for work" I growled to myself. Noiz sat up on the bed and watched me trip over myself as I rushed to get dressed. Walking downstairs I grabbed my bag and ren, who was sleeping next to it. Opening the door I felt noiz grab my wrist, turning to him he pecked me on the lips, "have a nice day" he said with a smile. Blushing, I headed out, once at the shop I found koujaku was there again. "Morning aoba" he said waving at me, returning his wave I sat down at the desk. Letting out a sigh koujaku leaned against the wall, waiting for the phone to go off at any minute I started to think about noiz.
I still remembered the gentle touch of his hand, and his piercing yellow eyes began to fill my thoughts. I was then snapped out of my thoughts when koujaku asked me a question. "What-what did you say?" I asked coming back to reality. "I said are you okay, you seem to be lost in thought" he said poking my head, rubbing the spot where he touched me I told him I zoned out for a second. Giving me a nod he let out a sigh, "so who's dog is that anyways, is it yours?" He asked raising an eyebrow. I shook my head, "its not mine" I said as koujaku laughed, "its seems to like you a lot" he said standing up straight. I gave a nod, through the day I talked to koujaku about many things, while answering the phone at the same time.
At the end of the day koujaku walked home with me, "man, I'm worn out" he groaned stretching his arms. "Tsk, I was the one working...so look who's talking" I said reaching for the door knob. I was startled when koujaku grabbed my hand, looking up at him startled I was way more shocked when he kissed me. Standing there frozen I blushed when he pulled away, "see ya later" he said walking off. Standing there in shock I went inside, I was shocked to find the house silent. "Noiz?!" I called walking up to my bedroom, when I opened my bedroom door I didn't see noiz. Thats when I noticed noiz's tail in front of my bed. "Oi what're you-" I was cut off when I saw noiz was in a bad condition.
He had scratches and bite marks all over him. Quickly getting on my hands and knees beside him I put my hand on his pressure point. Luckily he was still alive, his breaths were shallow and short. Whines could be heard between his breaths. "Noiz what happened" I asked as I felt tears forming in the corners of my eyes. Not making any movements I got ready to leave, but when I stood up he grabbed the cuff my sleeve. Looking at him tears were streaming down my face, his pained expression said 'don't go.' Sitting beside him again I stroked his head, he let out a heavy sigh before licking a tear from my face. His pierced tounge sent chills down my spine, sitting up he pressed his head against my chest.
Holding him gently I sulked, "we need to clean you up" I sniffled as I rubbed his pierced ear. Closing my eyes I was shocked when something touched my cheek, opening my eyes noiz was back in his human form. Blood ran from his head to his right eyebrow.
