“OH NO!” Nan lumo naman si Nellie ng marealize nya kung anong dahilan at kung sinong may kadahilanan ng pag kawala ng Necklace na bigay ni Carl. Oo, bigay kasi ni Carl yung necklace na yun kaya ganun yun kaimportante sakanya. It was the sign of Carl’s love for her.. but she have no slightest clue about that. Ang alam nya lang e mahalaga yun para sakanya at para kay Carl.
*FLASHBACK*
A Candlelight dinner. Sweet Music playing. Love covering the atmosphere. An almost perfect night for two souls who are in love, the only defect is that they were just BESTFRIENDS.
“Date natin to Best” He flashed a sincere smile. It was obvious that He’s happy. So is she, her heart quivered in all direction, she can feel so much happiness. She flashed him the sweetest smile she could produce.

“Thank you… You made me happy today.. Best” saad ni Carl habang nakayakap padin kay Danie. Tapos na yung tugtog pero di parin sila umaalis sa pwesto nila. Mag kayakap lang silang dalawa..
“Me too.. Thank you.” Best.. Ulit ni Danie sa isip nya. Bestfriend. Hanggang dun nalang ba talaga?
Humiwalay si Carl sa pag kakayakap nya kay Danie at may kinuha sa kanyang bulsa.
“This is for you” Inilahad ni Carl yung pulang box at binuksan nya ito.
Tumigil naman yung pag ikot ng mundo ni Danie ng lumuhod si Carl at binuksan yung box.
“Please accept this Danielle..” He smiled.
The way he says her name make her heart thump so loud inside her chest. “Why not?” sabi naman ni Danie habang naka ngiti. “Hey, Tayo na nga jan! Para ka namang nag po-propose ee.” Sabay tawa ng pilit pero deep down ee nasasaktan sya..
“sana nga..” bulong ni carl sa sarili nya ng may halong kalungkutan pero agad din naman itong napalitan ng tuwa. Isinoot ni Carl yung necklace kay Danie.
“Thank you” sabi ni Danie habang naka ngiti. Parang luma na yung necklace pero napaka ganda parin non..
“You gave life to that necklace” sabi nya ng may ngiti sa labi. “Alam mo ba na sa great great grandmother ko pa yan? Binigay yan sakin ni Granny. Sabi nya ibigay ko daw yan sa taong importante saakin” at mahal ko… gusto nyang idag dag pero di nya magawa.
“O, e bat saakin mo ibinigay?” saad naman ni Danie.
“Syempre importante ka sakin ee…
Bestfriend kita diba?” sabay gulo sa buhok ni Danie.
*End of flashback*
“Bestfriend”
Bigla nalang nag unahang tumulo yung mga luha sa mga mata ni Nellie ng muli nanaman niyang maalala yung araw nayun. Masakit. Yun nalang kasi yung bagay na nag bibigay sakanya ng pag asa na mahal din sya ni Carl kahit bilang bestfriend lang. Yun nalang yung kinakapitan nya.
“Good bye necklace… Good bye Carl?” aish.
Pinunasan na nya yung mga luhang tumulo sa pisngi nya at nag tuloy na sa banyo.
