//Chapter 2//

"Instead of reading comics, shouldn't you be getting ready???"

Maya asked Shin-Ae as I finished putting on my dress. I always found high heels uncomfortable so I'm just wearing black flats with a gray dress that reaches the floor and a navy blue eye mask with a golden outline. I let my long ginger hair lose as I never really enjoyed dressing especially for parties. My brother would often tease my tomboyish behaviour.

"I am ready. You guys are just taking too long..." I looked at what she was wearing. Just a yellow shirt and black leggings, I almost laughed at what my other older brother would say. Well, at least Yeong-Gi is going. I smiled at the thought before frowning at the next. Then again, it's not like they give us a choice. I sat down at the end of Maya's bed, where Shin-Ae was and picked up the comic book she was reading. No wonder she didn't finish. I cringed at the page where she left off. Romance is not my genre either.

"Shin-Ae. This isn't a party where leggings are fine. You need to dress up!" I closed the book and put it on an empty space on the shelf where I saw all of Maya’s books. Shin-Ae sat up with one arm behind her that kept her from falling as her other hand handed on her flat chest as she gave the pair a “duh” expression. “Look. I’m only going for the food.” She continued. “I won’t be able to eat as much in a tight dress like yours. And what I’m wearing is way more comfortable!”

"Can’t say I blame you. That's one reason why I wore this dress." I smirked when I said this under my breath, still looking at the bookshelf as my eyes and fingers skimmed over the colorful comics. I finally turned around to see a magenta swing dress thorn at Shin-Ae's face. I turned my back for a minute.

"It's a swing dress. You'll be able to pig out just fine with that." Maya and Rika stood over her smiling. "Now, take off your clothes. You wanted to be a stripper right?" Shin-Ae gave them a look of regret? Fear? Maybe both with a bit of shock mixed in there.

"Do I want to know?" Shin-Ae looked at me with a face and I knew not to ask.
