TODAY'S TOPIC:: apps/programmes

be honest, you were waiting for this, right? well then, it's finally here now. also, keep in mind that there are hundreds of apps for editing, but, the ones that i would be talking about are the ones that i currently used or have used at some point.

i have even included pictures here since i assumed that it might be boring to just read it through. and now you tell me, do alfisha and boring go together in the same sentence? okay jk, i will stop bluffing now.

1. IBISPAINT X

it is available for both ios and android and i have used it on both of them. my favourite app for editing. i would literally not survive a day on editing without using it. and 90% of a whole graphic of mine is made in here. i use it for literally everything (self made pngs, highlights, shadows and details). you can also create your own canvas sizd to your liking there and the app has amazing brushes. furthermore, you can import custom brushes from other graphic designers/editors too. i usually get mine from ivenusart, shaisgraphix, kittymarie0914graphics and yoonmin.ie on instagram.

2. REMINI

a must have app to get the best/hq quality for your resources. the enhance and colourise features are mostly used by me.

3. POLARR

i don't really use it a lot anymore like i used to. like, i used to rely on it the same way i rely on ibispaint x now. the basic filters are not the best ones so i make my own.

4. PHOTOSHOP LIGHTROOM

this is a free app, don't worry. i know that when we hear of photoshop, the first thing that comes to our mind is, oh, that must be costly as f. however, this is free. i use this app mostly for enhancing the details of my edits. it can both make your graphics shine like a diamond or ruin it. you just have to know how to use it and keep in mind that it shouldn't be overdone.

5. PICSART

i don't even go anywhere near this app anymore. it gives me shudders, damn. it isn't a bad app, don't worry. it's just not my style? don't get me wrong, but, the app is too complicated when the results that you get are pretty average for all the hard work put into it, or, it was just me. however, picsart is a suitable app for beginners. keep in mind that my dislike for this app is just my own opinion and that you can have your own opinion too. do not let my dislike-ness (is that even a word?) stop you from using it.

6. PHONTO

the best app for fonts. it already has hundreds of fonts. but, i tend to download mine off of dafont (this is a website for fonts, do let me know if you need a tutorial related to it). i will for sure have a chapter for types of fonts and where + how to use them since it's a really frequently asked question.
