Canon characters anyone?

Canon characters are very different from original ones. Although you have a great character/characters to work with you still don't have much creative space.
And often times canon character accounts are controversial because of how that canon character is played.
Honestly, I think you play the character how you see them in the book/movie/show.
For example if you see a certain character as more of a cinnamon roll then roleplay them that way!
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT HATE ON SOMEONE JUST BECAUSE THEY RP SOMEONE A CERTAIN WAY
