Never leave (malec fanfic)

Chapter one

Alec stuck the key into the apartment door trying to unlock it, it took a moment but he finally got it.

'I need to get a new key.' Alec muttered under his breath.

Everything was the same as it usually was except for one thing. A tall man was on the sofa eating Ben and Jerry's ice cream and crying with a cat in his arms, Magnus Bane the high warlock of Brooklyn (aka his boyfriend.) and his cat chairman meow.

'Are you crying?' Alec asked

'Yes, this movie is very sad.' Magnus replied.

Alec looked at the screen to find a man and a woman in the water.

'What's the name of the movie?' Alec asked him.

'It's called the titanic. Thats Jack and that's Rose they fell in love on that boat but it sinks and jack died.' Magnus sniffed.

'I've read the history of the titanic in my mundane studies class and that never happened.' Alec told him.

'Yes it has Alexander, it's history it had to have happened.' Magnus replied.

Alec sighed and smiled.

'Why do you have to be so cute?' Alec asked him.

'Alexander I'm many things, but I'm not cute, I'm handsome, striking, hot, well formed, hunky and much more.'

Alec smiled and kissed Magnus lightly.

'I could go on about how handsome I am.' Magnus told Alec. 'Or we could take this to my room.'

'Hmmmm.' Said Alec thoughtfully. 'I don't know they both sound great, but I think I'm going to have to go with the second one.'

'Good choice.' Magnus told him and grabbed his hand, they both ran into Magnus's room.

Alec woke up rubbing his eyes until he could see probably, he looked over at the alarm clock, it read; 12:34.

'Shit' Alec muttered

He had his first training session with Jace at 1:00 that gave him less then a half an hour to get ready.

Alec hurried to the bathroom and turned on the shower. While the water was heating he took out his toothbrush and started to quickly brush his teeth.

When he finished he jumped into the shower, the shower hat water pouring off his skin. It was only a quick shower not one that he could enjoy.

When he finished his shower he looked into the mirror and found a hicky.

'Oh shit.' Alec said.

Alec walked into Magnus with his towel rapped around his waist. Magnus was only awake.

'Look at what you've done to me.' Alec said to him.

'That wasn't me.'

'Then who was it because I bloody damn well hope it wasn't the cat.'

'The cat has a name.'

Alec groaned and started blow drying his hair and putting on his clothes at the same time which was harder than he expected.

Magnus sat beside him and took the blow dryer out of his hand and Magnus blow dried his hair for him as he got into his clothes

When Magnus finished with his hair Alec jumped up and kissed him goodbye. Alec was leaving the room to head to the institute when.

'Sorry about the hicky I gave you.' Magnus called after him.

'I knew it was you and not the cat.' Alec called back

Alec ran out and started to walk to the institute. It wasn't far up he wouldn't need a cab plus it was good for the fit bit. Alec didn't know what the fit bit did but Simon told him that the more steps he did the better.

Alec walked through the institute doors and church ran towards him. Alec picked church up and held him close to his chest.

'We're have you been?' Jace asked him smirking.

Jace his parabatai stood behind Alec leaning against the wall near the door.

'How did yo- never mind.'

'I've been waiting.' Jace told him.

'Yeah.' Said Alec. 'That's not creepy at all.'

'You stood me up Alec, I waited for you on the training grounds but you never showed.' Jace said faking a hurt face,

'I didn't, we made plans for 1:00 I'm actually two minutes early.'

'Are you okey Alec we made plans for 12:00 not 1:00, you don't usually forget these things, also you avoided my first question; where were you?

'Out.' Was all Alec said.

Izzy walked into the hall with Clary followed behind her and they stood beside Jace.

'Hey ale-... why have you got glitter on your shirt?' Izzy asked.

'And what's that on your neck.' Clary asked.

Alec put a hand to his neck he still hasn't gotten the chance to tell them that he's gay.

Jace grinned.

'I know we're Alec has been.' Jace said calmly.

'You do?' Alec asked panicky.

'Yes, Alexander Gideon Lightwood was out clubbing last night.'

Izzy and Clary giggled because they both know that Alec has never been in a club before.

Alec phone started ringing he picked it out of his pocket, and blushed when he seen that Magnus was calling him.

'Hold on.' Alec told Jace, Clary and Isabelle.

Alec walked a little further Down the hall.

'Hello?' Alec said

Why, hello Alexander, I was just about to head out to make some breakfast when chairman meow had reminded me that I don't have anything in for dinner do you have any preferences. Magnus asked.

'I wouldn't mind just ordering a pizza.'

'Okey, shall I buy wine?'

'Yeah sure, we can watch a movie as well'

'Okay you can carry on with your training now, love you, bye.'

'I love you too.'

Alec hung up and put the phone back into his pocket he turned around and walked back down to his friends.

'Alec loves someone.' Jace teased.

Clary elbowed him in the ribs.

Alec could feel himself go red with embarrassment.

'You were eavesdropping!' Alec asked.

'No..well....yes ok fine I did, but you should be glad now you don't have to hide your girlfriend from me.'

'Yeah I guess I don't have to hide her from you.' Alec said with a doubtful frown.
