Chapter seven

'Mom what are you doing here.' Alec asked.

Magnus stood aside awkwardly.

'I'm here to take you home Alexander.' Maryse told him.

'My home is with Magnus.' Alec told her.

'How about you two sit down.' Magnus said gesturing towards the sofa. 'And I'll make some tea, Maryse do you drink tea or are you more of a coffee person.'

'Water will be fine.' Maryse told him.

'Alexander, do you want tea?' Magnus asked.

Alec nodded his head and sat down.

'Why do you want me back at the insti-.' Alec was trying to say.

'Alec I know you wanted me to stay at the London institute.' Someone was saying as the door opened. 'But I need my parabatai, remember my needs before Magnus's.'

Alec turned around to see Jace.

'Oh, Maryse what are you doing here?' Jace asked.

Maryse was about to answer but Magnus walked in.

'Jace I told you time and time again to nock before you walk in.' Magnus told him

'Guys.' Said Alec. 'This is not the time.'

'Sorry Alec, I'll just wait outside with Clary.'

'Clary's here?' Alec asked.

'Yes she tried to stop me from coming.' Jace told him and walked out to Clary.

Magnus came in with two cups of tea and a glass of water floating above him, he grabbed the glass of water and handed it to Maryse and then he grabbed a cup of tea for Alec and got one down for himself.

Magnus sat in the armchair that was beside he sofa.

Chairman meow hoped on the sofa and tried to get a stroke from Maryse, Maryse scooted away slowly.

'Sorry about Chairman meow, he only wants attention.' Alec told her and scooped him up. He walked over and handed him to Magnus,

'Also, it wasn't my idea to take Church with us, Jace hoped into the portal with him.' Alec added.

Maryse nodded.

'Please come home Alexander.' She said to him.

'Not without Magnus.' Alec said simply.

'You can date any guy you want just not Magnus.' Maryse told him.

'But I don't want to date any guy, I want to date Magnus.' Alec told her.

'Fine, you can date Magnus, just come home Alec.'

Alec thought it would be much harder to get his mother to let him date Magnus.

'It's not me you two have to worry about, I saw the photo of you and Magnus.' Maryse told Alec. 'The one of you two in Paris, you looked so happy Alexander, but your father he thinks your just going through a faze.'

Alec frowned at that, it wasn't just a faze he loved Magnus and he liked guys, Alec didn't know why this was so hard for them to understand.

'He thinks it's Clarissa's fault.' Maryse explained. 'That your gay, he thinks that she's a bad influence.'

Alec could see Magnus hiding his face behind chairman meow, he was trying not to laugh.

'Magnus, are you okey?'

That's when Magnus burst out laughing and Alec started laughing as well.

'Clary's fault that Alec gay?' Magnus laughed.

Maryse seemed very uncomfortable, she just took a sip of her water.

'Jace.' Magnus called and Jace burst into the room.

'Robert thinks that it's Clary's fault that Alecs gay.' Magnus told him.

Jace started laughing as well, Jace pulled out his phone and called somebody.'

'Clary, guess what.' Jace said to the phone.

'Apparently it's your fault that Alecs gay.'

After a good ten minutes everybody calmed down.

'So are we going back to New York?' Jace asked.

'Yes, we're going home.' Alec replied.

Jace texted everybody to head to the apartment, but for some reason everybody was outside the apartment door anyways.

Magnus opened up the portal and everybody hopped inside.

Maryse went home, Izzy and Clary went shopping, Simon felt awkward so he left and Jace refused to leave so Magnus opened up a portal back to the New York institute and threatened him with a fire ball.

'It's been a long day Alexander,' Magnus told him. 'How about we get some sleep?'

Alec nodded and they headed to bed.

Alec head on the tall warlocks chest, his arms wrapped around him.

'Never leave Alexander.' Magnus told him.

'Trust me Magnus you'll have to force me out, to get rid of me.' Alec said smiling.
