Chapter five

'Oh Alec are you okey.' Izzy asked.

Alec couldn't answer so instead he nodded.

'Right.' Said Magnus. 'I found an apartment, I'm pretty sure the London institute will let you guys stay there, but I don't know how shadowhunter stuff works also you might have to sneak Seamus inside.'

'Who's Seamus?' Jace asked

Magnus pointed at Simon and rolled his eyes, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, then he opened a portal.

'Are you sure you want to come along with me?' Alec asked Magnus.

'I would go to the moon for you Alexander.' Magnus told him.

Alec smiled, Alec had always thought that he would never find anyone who would love him, but he found Magnus and Alec couldn't want anything more.

'Well what are you waiting for.' Jace said and hopped in the portal with Chairman meow and Church in his arms.

'Jace!' Alec called after him. 'You can't take Church with you!'

'Well he can't hear you, plus Jace won't listen.' Clary told him then walked in.

'I can't believe it doing this for a guy who can't even remember my name.' Simon muttered and walked in.

'See you on the other side.' Izzy said to them and jumped through.

'Well do you want to go through?' Magnus asked him.

'I'm going to miss New York but I know we're I'm not wanted.' Alec said sadly.

'Hey Alexander did you see how many people walked through that portal just for you.' Magnus asked.

Alec answered with a smile and held out his hand Magnus took it and they walked through together.

'Were is Isabelle?' Robert asked Maryse.

'I don't know, I can't find Jace either.' Maryse told him.

Riley was standing beside a couple of other people her age but could hear Maryse and Robert speaking.

She heard them at taki's shouting at Alec for being gay, Riley wouldn't admit it but she was a bit jealous of Magnus.

Riley knew were Isabelle and Jace were, she saw Isabelle walk towards Magnus's apartment followed by a girl with red hair and a boy with glasses, they obviously left with Alec.

'I know were they are.' Riley told them.

'Riley tell us were Isabelle and Jace are.' Robert told her.

'Well isn't it obvious? They left with Alec a girl with red hair and a boy with glasses went with them.' Riley told them.

'I knew that, that Clarissa was a bad influence on Alec.' Robert told Maryse.

Riley almost laughing at that.

'It's not Clarissa's fault that Alec is dating a guy, he's always been gay.' Riley said.

'Riley this is family business, you should probably go back to your group of friends.'

Riley rolled her eyes and walked off.

'Don't worry Maryse, it's probably just a faze.' Robert told Maryse.

'Robert, did we do the right thing?' Maryse asked.

'Of course we did, this will teach him, he'll be back soon.'

Maryse shook her head.

'This is different from Isabelle, Isabelle never looked at someone the way, Alexander looked at Bane.'

'Trust me Maryse, he'll be back.'

Maryse knew that Robert was wrong and she was going to get Alexander back.

'Okey, Robert I trust you.' She told him.

As soon as Robert left she pulled out her phone and called Catarina.

'Hello?' Catarina said.

'Hi.' Said Maryse.

'Magnus and Alec told me to not tell you were they are.' Catarina told her.

'Well could you please just tell me, I know they are in London.'

'I'm sorry mrs lightwood, but Magnus is one of my dearest friends and I will not let him nor his boyfriend Alec down.'

'Do not say that again.' Maryse snapped.

'What? Alec calls Magnus his boyfriend, and Magnus calls Alec his boyfriend.'

Maryse hung up the phone she knew if didnt hang up, she would say something she couldn't take back.

Maryse called Ragnor Fell.

'Hello Mr Fell.'

'Um, hello? Who is this.'

'I'm Mrs lightwood of th-'

'Isabelle I told you already, I don't know what Magnus would like for Valentine's Day, so tell your brother that he can figure out what his boyfriend likes on his own.'

'Sorry, I'm not Isabelle I'm her mother.'

'Oh, well Magnus and his boyfriend told me not to speak to you.'

'My son is not Mr Banes boyfriend.'

'That's not what they told me.'

'I don't care what they told you, I just need you to portal me to them.'

'Trust me mrs lightwood I almost never put down a chance to mess with Magnus's love life, but he seems like he really loves Alexander and one of the last times Magnus heart was broken, well let's just say that thats part of the reason he was banned from Peru.'

Maryse hung up the phone again, knowing that Ragnor wouldn't help her.

Maryse tried to think, who wouldn't Magnus talk to.

Maryse had an idea but it was a fifty, fifty chance

She picked up her phone and dialled tessa's number.

'Hello, Mrs gray.

'Um hello?'

'I need your help.'

'Okey what can I help you with?'

'I need you to do a tracking spell and a portal.'

'Sure when should I come over.'

'As soon as possible but instead of the New York institute I need you to meet me at Magnus Banes apartment.'

Alec was with Jace, Izzy, Clary and Simon, Magnus was at there apartment trying to get it ready before Alec showed up.

Alec nocked at the London institutes door, a girl about a year or two younger then them answered.

'Hello, welcome to the London institute I'm Emily, Emily Ashdown.' Said the girl

'Nice to meet you Emily, I'm Alec lightwood and this is my sister Isabelle, that's my parabatai Jace Wayland and this is Clary and Simon Fairchild, we are from the New York institute.'

Alec gave Simon the same surname as Clary because no institute would except a mundane, and Lewis sounds nothing like any shadowhunter.

Simon looked a little confused at being called a Fairchild but went along with it.

Emily welcomed them inside and asked them if they would like her to contact the New York institute.

Alec told her it would be best if she didn't, then she showed everybody there new rooms.
