( Just a quick note : None of this actually ever happened this is just what I personally wish had happened. Arizona leg amputation, Cristina's psychosis and Derek's hand injurie are the only things I have kept the same.)

Everyone on the plane were all rescued exactly 2 hours after they crashed Dr Alex Karev was concerned when Doctor Arizona Robbins wasn't answering her phone, even when her wife rang.
Dr Owen Hunt was also concerned when he didn't hear that they had landed safely , he had asked for at least one of the surgeons to ring to say they were okay but yet no one rang.
Dr Lexie Grey was rushed to the hospital ASAP judging how severe her injuries were. They had to perform many surgeries on her because of her condition. It was months of recovery but her Fiancée stood by her for at least the second half.
Lexie's Fiancée Dr Mark Sloan also had fatal injuries but managed to fight through and come through.
Dr Arizona Robbins had to have a leg amputation there was no possible way to save the leg. Her wife Dr Calliope Torres had to make this order herself.
Dr Cristina Yang was diagnosed with reactive psychosis and refused to talk to people for weeks and also was violent towards doctors. She however did recover and start a fellowship at Mayo Clinic.
Dr Meredith Grey struggled after the plane crash but made a relatively quick recovery.
Dr Derek Shepard broke many bones in his hand and there was severe nerve damage, he was also treated by Dr Calliope Torres and his sister Liz donated her nerve to help him. He never thought he would operate again but he did after a long recovery.
