Akuma no Sekai

Chapter One

In a galaxy much different from ours, there was a simple world called by humans, they call us monsutā in the Hanabi Galaxy, Akuma no Sekai is the world I live in. Akuma no Sekai means demon world. In my world there are many mysterious things that there are no explanations for, well none other than it just being plain old magick.

Ah yes, magick much different from magic. Magic is much like what you would see on earth in a magic show. Magick on the other hand involves unicorns, ghouls, vampires, and so much more. And then there are the hybrids...half breed as most of the other Monsutā like to call them. The most feared creatures on Akuma no Sekai. Half breeds are the outcasts of the planet. The parents of half breeds usually don't make it to see their child's fifth birthday.

'Well how does the child survive then?' you might be asking, well normally they don't. The parents hide away the child but the scent of the kid is on the parents, so the hantā can track their scent and kill the child. But sometimes the hantā cannot track the scent, so the child survives. Half breeds are really rare to come across but when you do, you run. You run because they will hunt you down to get revenge for what happened to their parents.

Oh who are we kidding. My name is Lumi Tenshi, and I am a fifteen year old highschool student. I have long jet black hair that goes down to my waist with blood red eyes and pale skin. Oh and another thing, my parents are dead. Why? Well because I am a half breed, well not necessarily. My father was a half breed (ghoul and werewolf), and so was my mother (ghoul and vampire). So technically i am a tri-breed, but we will just say half breed so I seem more 'normal'. You see I am the first monsutā to be three different species, instead of just two. I am the first ever ghoul, werewolf, vampire hybrid ever. I am a mix of the three strongest species that are considered to be Roiyariti.

All that nonsense of what I said earlier about us killing you when we see you is complete bull that 'normal' monsutā tell their children to make them behave and come in before dark. The being hunted down simply for being a half breed that is all true. At the age of five my parents were hunted down along with my twin brother. I saw them all perish in front of my eyes. The hantā thought that there was only one child instead of two so I am still alive, in all of my half breed glory. Note the sarcasm.

I am currently living in the Suramu Machi of the twentieth ward. Speaking of wards i probably should explain how my world is split up. The world is split up into five hundred wards, and each ward as you go up is filled with higher class monsutā. The first ward being filled with the lowest of the low, and the five hundredth ward being filled with the highest class you could be, the king and his family. Since I live in the twentieth ward I am living with the lowest of the low but slightly better.

I go to a high school for lower lever monsutā. I can already hear you saying 'but the hantā will kill you if they find out!' welp i have already got that covered. I am posing and a lower level monsutā;an ogre. On earth ogres are giant scary looking beings that have a taste for human flesh. Well on Akuma no Sekai, ogres do not have a taste for flesh and are not huge and monstrous. The only difference between an ogre and a human from earth is the difference in strength. Ogres are really strong, but they have their limits.

Why I chose to pose as an ogre is because of my monstrous strength. I just have to limit how much strength I use and only eat in the comfort of my home and boom, an ogre. 'Why only eat in the comfort of your home?' you may ask, well I am a ghoul, vampire, and werewolf. Now the stereotypical vampire drinks human blood, and the stereotypical ghoul eats human flesh. That much is true. Every food that anyone else might like...I can't eat. It just tastes awful and I can't keep it down. Everytime I try to eat normal food I get sick, so at one point I just stopped trying to keep any of it down. The only normal thing I can keep down is water. That is it. I can't even add sugar to have sugar water.
