Chapter Two

 I walked back into the shack with a shocked Leo looking right at me. "H-How...W-Why....W-What?!" I chuckled at him seeing as he looked exactly like a fish out of water. "How? Well I simply just looked scared out of my mind and acted like a child. Why? Because I didn't want Hina and you to get hurt, along with your unborn child. And what? I saved you from the hantā." I smiled. "Oh and by the way, they are long gone now seeing as I pointed them in the 'right' direction, that and I can't smell them anymore." I chuckled. Leo left to go get Hina. When Hina came in and saw be she ran to me and hugged me.I smiled and patted her head, which was quite hard because she was taller than me. "Thank you." she said softly. I hummed in response.

Leo then came up to me and wacked me on the back of the head. "You dummy! You could have gotten killed!" I fell to the ground anime crying and held my head in my hands. "OW!" I yelled. Hina ran off, I believe, to get me an ice pack. I stood up and sat on the couch. She came back into the room and handed me the ice pack which I silently thanked her for. "I know what I did was stupid, but could you have hit me a little less hard!" I yelled at Leo. He looked away and mumbled "But, you could have died." I sighed. "Leo, I know I could have died, but so can you. I have had a somewhat ok life, and I have no one waiting for me back at home. You do. You have Hina and your child who is yet to be born. You have something to look forward to and as long as you have that, you're not dying on my watch." He looked at me sadly.

"I guess you are right but don't say you have nothing to live for and you sure as hell have not had an okish life. You have us to live for now."

I smiled at him softly. "Thank you Leo." We sat there in comfortable silence, but that only lasted for a few minutes. "Hey Leo, how old are you?" I asked out of pure curiosity. "Fifty two, why?" I looked at him in shock. "Hina, how old are you?!" I asked because she looked no older than twenty five. "Ummmm...I believe I'm thirty." I looked at Leo and pointed a finger at him. "YOU OLD PERV!" I screamed at him, "HOW COULD YOU! YOU ARE ANCIENT COMPARED TO HER!" Leo then screams back. "I AM NOT THAT OLD AND IT IS ONLY A TWENTY YEAR DIFFERENCE!" "HINA HOW COULD YOU LET THIS PERV DO THIS TO YOU? OH THE HORROR! SO YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL AND YOU LET THIS OLD DINOSAUR GET TO YOU!" I whined as I fell to the floor anime crying. Hina was laughing at us.

After we all calmed down, Hina asked, "Lumi how old are you?" "Huh? Oh, I'm fifteen." Both Leo and Hina looked like they were about to die. "YOU LOOK LIKE YOU ARE TEN BUT ACT LIKE YOU ARE 30 HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!" Leo shouted at me. I just laughed at him. "Leo, what time is it?" Hina asked. "It is twelve AM, why?" I bolted up off of the couch. "Crap, I gotta get going. I have homework to do and school tomorrow! Bye old perv, bye Hina! See you tomorrow!" I yelled as I ran out of the door. I heard them both yell bye, that was until Leo heard what I had called him. "HEY I'M NOT THAT OLD AND I'M NOT A PERV!" I laughed as I ran home. When I got home I smiled to myself. Finally something to look forward to at the end of every day.

I found my school bag that I had lazily thrown onto the floor of my one bedroom apartment. I groaned as I looked through the bag only to see about a million assignments I had to complete and turn in tomorrow. Ok, so maybe not a million probably more like eight, but they are gonna take me forever to do. I sat down at my desk and turned on the lamp.

A few hours later, around four AM, I had everything done. I turned off my lamp and flung myself onto my bed, not bothering to change from my day clothes to my night clothes. I made sure my alarm was set for six fifty AM, and went to sleep.

I was flying amongst the fog with fairies, when all of a sudden I heard the sound of a firetruck. I jolted awake and slammy alarm clock against the wall. "YOU STUPID PEICE OF METAL,I WAS HAVING A GOOD DREAM FOR ONCE!" I sighed as I looked at my now broken alarm clock. "Guess I will just have to get a new one on my way to Leo's place.I wonder if he will even be home. Oh I know I'm going to get Hina a strawberry smoothie, and me and Leo a human smoothie." Ok I know that sounds bad but you can get those at a very specific store for your friends.
