Taeil park

What was he doing in this classroom..?

I tried peeking at him through the big crowd of girls. I couldn't.

"Taeil Park," SooJin exclaimed.

"Huh?"

"He is the most good-looking guy in this whole school 👀," she said while trying to get a good look at Ye Joon, dreamily.

"Oh..." I stood up on my tippy toes to get a good look at him.

I swear to God- they are blocking my view!

I Frowned.

I remembered buying a cute guitar keychain this morning. I stared at it for a bit.

What if.

"Do you know what his locker number is?" I asked Soojin sheepishly.

"Locker 67-" she said bemused.

"Thank you!" I giggled and got up and went to find his locker.

Before I left, I tried to get a good look at him. He gave out a scary gaze. Unsure who he was looking at, I took a deep breath and made my way out.

63, 65, oh! 67!

I found the locker and looked around confirming that no one was there...I stuck the keychain somewhere between the holes of his locker and kept a small note that says

"I heard you like music! I bought you a keychain! I hope you like it!

From,

Your secret admirer"

No. I did not know if he has a liking for music- I just figured Ye Joon would, so I hung the keychain to the locker.

I hope he likes it.

I stuck the sticky note on the locker and walked away quietly, unnoticed by anyone. I was pretty anxious and nervous about what I just did. I saw Ye Joon walking back. Maybe to the direction of his locker?

I fidgeted with my fingers, eyes locked to the floor, as I walked past him. I looked up to take a quick look at him. We made eye contact. My heart skipped a beat. I gripped onto my chest and walked away as quickly as possible. I went to class and sat down next to Soojin.

His eyes. In those brown eyes was the warmth of an everlasting hearth, as if they were the wood that could burn with golden flame yet be forever flawlessly entire.

I realized I was already simping over him. I sighed as I slipped out my notebook from my bag and kept it on the table. The teacher started the lesson. I wrote down the ones barely understanding a word.

Even though I was topping in all my exams, except maths, I can't pay attention

I understood most of the things that Soojin explains to me. I zone out a lot, making it difficult for me to focus on my work. I tried paying attention again. I couldn't. I didn't know what was distracting me. Did he like the keychain...? what if he finds out it's me? He probably gets a lot of gifts. I won't be surprised if mine gets tossed aside.

A part of me wanted him to keep it.

When I heard the school bell ring out, I got up from my seat.

"Taeil Park. To my office." The teacher commanded. I looked at my teacher and nodded.

I followed my teacher to his office anxiously.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

My mouth dropped at the thought of tutoring Ye Joon Kim. Yes. The Ye Joon Kim. 'i know you are capable of teaching your friends with such good grades' was what Mr. Lee told me. I didn't think so. I was good at studying but teaching... I would've failed if it wasn't for my photogenic memory. Honestly, I have tried before, it didn't go too well...Why do kids have so many questions? It makes me forget every single thing I've ever learned.

It's going to be one long semester...
