Ten POV:I open my eyes. Yes! I'm alive! I find myself in the same underwater cave, but somewhere else. A secret place in the cave. There was air. I could breath! It's just like how you put an empty bucket in the water, upside down, there is air inside. The same way, was the hideout. I opened my flashlight and looked around. I stumbled on something and fell down. I looked what I stumbled on. It was Five! Five was with me! I tried to wake her up, but she didn't move.
Me: Five? Five! Wake up!
Is she alive? I keep thinking.
Five POV:
I couldn't breath. I couldn't move. I couldn't feel. I couldn't speak. I heard a voice trying to wake me up. It was Ten! But I could barely hear her. Her voice was getting dissolved in the high pitched ringing. I wanted to let her know that I'm alive. I can hear her. But I didn't know how. On the outside, I was not working. From the inside, I couldn't feel. It's like there is nothing under me. I'm not on the floor. I thought I had opened my eyes, but I didn't. Ten was still trying to wake me up. I was dead from the outside. But alive from the inside.
Ten POV:
Please respond to me, Five. Please.
I couldn't get her to wake up. We were stuck here. We can't get out of here until the leader was dead. Or at least, knocked out. I put my hand on Five's heart, to make sure she was alive. It's.. it's beating! SHE'S ALIVE!! But it was beating slowly. I was so happy! But, how will I wake her up?There was this process.. called.. cardio pulmonary resuscitation. Or.. CPR. That's the only way! But, I don't know how to do it. I try to remember how Twenty-One taught me. She lives in the woods. She knows a lot of survival methods. I can't remember. I have a flashback of what she told me earlier. I remember now! I start doing the process. Fifteen minutes passed. I was doing it continuously. Something is missing. A part of the process I had missed out. My mind is focused on Five. I can't remember ANYTHING!
I try to remember, when I heard a gasp. I turned around and saw Five gasping for air. I ran towards her and helped her. After 2 minutes, she gave a heavy sigh and lied down.
Five POV:
I'm awake. I'm alive. I'm FIVE! I could feel and see and breath and speak and hear! I drank a lot of sea water. It tasted disgusting. I advice you not to drink it 🤢. Ten was beside me. She was looking at me, in a very worried manner. Did she actually come by herself? To save me? She is so brave! I finally let the words come out of my mouth.
Me: Thank you, Ten.
Ten put on a big smile and hugged me. Don't you just love it when your best friend hugs you?
Ten: It's okay, Five. I'm just glad you're safe.
The moment she said that, I frowned. I wasn't 100% safe. I was breathing shakily, I just woke up. I wonder how Seven is doing.. Is he sad? Probably crying.. No no. He doesn't like me. Why would he do that?
Me: Ten, how do we get out of here?
Ten: As soon as we find how we got in.
Me: Okay..
Ten: Maybe I should do it myself. You should rest.
Me: Rest.. okay.
The hot air in the cave hurt my head. The high pitched ringing was incredibly increasing. I tried to keep it down, intending not to disturb Ten. But I couldn't hold it. The ringing had got on my last nerve and I started screaming.
Ten POV:
I was looking for an exit. I suddenly heard Five screaming. I ran to her and saw her holding her head. It must be a headache. Twenty-One taught me that whenever anybody is underwater for a very long time, they hear a high pitched ringing and their head starts hurting. What was the cure? I couldn't think properly because Five was screaming.
I remember a few things. I had to cover up the noise, with a soft sound. What kind of sound is soft enough? At least, from the things that I found in the cave. I couldn't find anything helpful. I had an idea. Maybe I was the helpful thing. I also remember that we have to reduce the stress of the patient. I made her lay down again.
I hugged her and started singing softly, but she was still screaming. She was screaming right next to my head. I tried to ignore her screams and concentrate.
I changed to two blocks wide. I know how hard it is for someone young, like Five. If she doesn't calm down, something bad might happen. I continue singing softly. She is just like a hungry baby. She wouldn't stop screaming.
Five POV:
This ringing is too much for me! I can't hold it! Ten is trying to calm me down, but I can't stop! It's like my body is controlling me! If I was controlling myself, I would have stayed quiet. But I can't! 😭
Ten: Five, please calm down. You have to reduce your stress.
I didn't hear a thing she said. My head was squeezing me. I tried my best to stay quiet. But I lost control of myself.
Unintentionally, I slapped Ten and she gasped. She held my hands down. Why is my body controlling me? I didn't mean to slap her! She kissed my head and I stopped screaming. But I was hyperventilating.
I hope I can control my body again. The ringing had decreased and I could hear a little.
Ten POV:
Phew! She stopped screaming. But she is still not okay. She was breathing heavily. I'm glad Seven isn't here. Five was strained out. She had no more energy to scream. She closed her eyes and slept.
I stood 10 blocks tall and I started looking for an exit. After nearly 30 minutes, I found the door that brought us here. I pushed a stone plate. The door opened and it showed the water. I should have gotten everything ready before pushing it. The water started gushing in. I should've known.
I ran towards Five and lifted her off the ground. How will we get out of here if Five isn't holding her breath? The water started rising. It was rising very fast. It reached my Third top block in no time. All I wanted to do was keep Five safe. Now, we will both die. Because of me...
