Part 1: Save's Luck

Ten POV:

I opened my eyes and found myself floating on the surface of the water and Five was on top of me. I'm surprised that the sharks didn't get us. Probably they though we were dead, so they didn't bother. I carried Five with one hand and peddled to shore with another.

I'm never touching water ever again. I bet me and Five have Thalassophobia now. I carry Five and I go far far FAR from shore. I made sure Five is still sleeping. She was sleeping, thankfully! I coughed a little. Water had almost entered my lungs. I start to wake Five up.

She sits down and started coughing as if she had chocked on a piece of metal. I hope she's fine. Her cough sounded so rough. I put my hand on her forehead to check her temperature. Yes, she caught a fever. I can't believe I got through all of this. I couldn't imagine what Five would have been through.

Me: Five, can you stand up?

Five: I can't do it. Oww!!

Me: Woah! stay there, Five!

Five: My leg hurts so bad!!

I checked Five's leg and she was.. actually bitten by a shark. I'm starting to worry by the second! I gently hug her and carry her and head back to Numberland.

Home. Sweet. Home. It's evening now. I'm sure we would have loved to sit in a beautiful place and look at the sunset with Nine and Seven instead of dealing with all of this. I'm sure Five wants the same too.

Five POV:

My left leg is numb. I don't know, I find it funny that it's gonna be weird when I stand on the floor. Ten is taking me to my house. She has done more than enough for me. And yet, she wants to stay with me until I'm 100% cured.

Me: Ten, promise me that this is the last thing you do for me.

Ten: I want to do anything to keep you safe, Five. Even if I had to give my life for it. You are still young. You don't know what kind of dangerous things are in this humongous world.

Me: Ten..

I can't believe what she had said. Even Seven wouldn't have said that. What am I saying? Seven doesn't even like me. Why would he like someone stupid like me?

We reach my house and she puts me on my bed. She gets a bandage and bandaged the bite. I give a quick scream. She did it too tight.

Me: Ow!

Ten: What's wrong?

Me: You put it too tight.

Ten: Oh, sorry! I'll fix it right away!

She ties it loosely. Wait a minute. My leg is not numb anymore! Woo-hoo! Ten changed to two blocks wide. She sat near me on the bed. She hugged me and whispered something to me. I widen my eyes from surprise. She just told me that Seven likes me back. I can't believe it! What Seven would always say, That was Lucky!

Ten POV:

I love Five as much as I love Nine. Maybe even more. I would have never smiled again if Five was dead. Whenever I see Five, all my worries flow away. I hear a knock on the door.

Five: Who can it be?

Me: I'll check it out.

I went to open the door and it was Seven.

Seven: Oh, hi Ten. I just wanted to put Five's Glove in her house.. And what brings you here?

Me: Uh.. Seven. There's something you should see.

I tried to sound like something bad has happened. I wanted to surprise him. He indeed had a worried face and followed me. We both entered Five's Room and I covered Seven's eyes.
