I am More Than Just This

I am more than what I wear
I am more than the length of my hair

I am more than the colour of my skin
I am more than the trophies I win

I am more than how I look
I am more than a label, a textbook*

I am more than
So much more than this

I am the books I read and the poems I unfurl
I am the way I see the world

I am the way I climb the walls around the house
I am the way I sneak around past midnight as quiet as a mouse

I am beautiful and brave and energetic and smart
I am a lot of things that set me apart

But most importantly I am me
and there is no one in the world I would rather be

*Hello, What do you think?
I wrote this after people made some comments about my hair (so my hair is short). Anyway as you probably figured out that textbook was my middle school label. I mean it doesn't bother me and I don't think my friends mean it as an insult but sometimes I feel that I am just known as a textbook but if they get to know me better they'll see that I am a theater-nut or an artist. Okayyyyy, before I go on a rant, here is my question for you-
What is your label and what you wish to be known for other than that?
