Part 15 Unexpected

"Hey..sherni" he patted her head lovingly. "Look at me" he lifted her head

"I love you" he said moving a hair strand off her face.

"I love you too" she said looking into his eyes he went to kiss her but she turned away.

"Sherni?" He asked turning her by the chin to face him she wanted to tell him what happened what her papa said but right now she didn't know how to tell him..it wasn't his fault..

"S-sorry" she pecked his lips "I have been all over the place" she said whilst looping his neck.

"Its ok your allowed to zindagi that's why I gave you space last week" he hugged her petite frame.

"I didn't need space mendak I missed you last week" she said coming out of his hug.

"I did too.. my cuddles ke bina accha nai lagta"

"Sometimes life isn't always fair" he nodded as he thought she was referring to her papa's sudden demise and she was but also the condition he requested of her.

"Hmm Sherni life is like a box of chocolates you never know which one you're gonna get" she nodded

"Yes forest Gump anyways" she removed her arms off him. "Dadi is waiting but I do need to see you tomorrow please come over after work?"

"Sure I'll be there" he replied with a smile.

"ok I'll see you then sweet dreams" she said then climbed out of the window.

"Yes Sherni I can't wait to take you to Delhi with me and start our married life" he said with a grin.

"Hey my zindagi" he said as she opened the door "kesi ho" he kissed her cheek and walked ahead and sat in the main room, Naira saw him sitting on the sofa.

"Where is dadi?"

"She is with chachu she won't be back for a few hours"

"I can't believe uncle isn't here its weird I just expect him to walk into the room" Naira was quiet..

"I told mumma ke we are um in a relationship woh bhi serious wala" Naira looking at him. "Sherni she loves you alot" he said

"I know I love her too"

"Naira what's wrong you can tell me..come sit next to me and apna mann halka karo baby come" he said she nodded and sat down.

"Kartik papa's last words to me were.. to get married"

"Wow Naira papa ese ashirward de gaye..

"To Rahul" she said

" w-what?" She nodded

"His last wish was for me to get married to Rahul" he was shocked and went quiet..

Kartik mein kya karu" she said resting her face against his chest.

"Its simple" he said she lifted her head up "you should do what you feel is right" he said

"W-what?" She asked

"Hmm" he held her hand..

"and if my decision is not what you want then?"

"Sometimes life isn't fair..but it's ok don't take pressure what ever you decide it's fine ok..is there anything else you wanted to tell me?"

"no bas this was it I feel so much more better that I have told you" she wiped a tear.

"Good" he let go of her hand "have you um been in touch with Rahul does he know?"
