Chapter 4

The sun disappeared and the moon raised, new day but same pain. I drowned myself at work, I also edited and chose where the next place is, and I chose Jeju Island where Me and Jennie promised that we will marry each other after we finish the college

Flashback

"Hon, promise me that after our graduation we will get married, okay?" Jennie says. Jennie is my life. She helped me get out of my old life, I know it's too embarrassing to admit but I'm a gang leader before. I used to be a rebel but because of her I changed the way I dress, the way I think, and even my beliefs. Bambam, Minnie and Jennie helped me to study and our other friends helped me with my tuition

"Of course, and here in Jeju, we will build a family. Imagine, you can see mini Jennie and mini Lisa running around" I said as I kissed her forehead, I felt her tiny fingers slowly hugging my waist. I am satisfied with my life, I have a loving girlfriend and friends who are always there for Me. I have nothing else to ask for because I have been given everything I want

End of flashback

The world is not fair, when you became happy for a moment and have a lasting pain in return. I know, Jennie deserves this, she deserves to be happy and I know Taehyung can make her the most happiest girl ever

I can't go to sleep, I checked Minnie and she's already sleeping. I went outside our hotel to have a walk, I also bring my camera with me, I took a random photos when I saw Jennie walking. I'm about to hide when I saw her but it's too late, she already called my name

"Nice Camera" Jennie said. I let out a small chuckle before I talk and turn my attention to her.

"Are you alone?" I asked.

"Since you see me walking alone here, I guess that answers your question? Can you take a picture of me?" She rolled her eyes at first but smile afterwards.

Gosh, how I miss witnessing this cutie infront of me.

"In a count of three. One, two, three"

You're still shining my nini, go shine without me, my baby

"Thanks, I'll see you on Jeju, Ms. Photographer" she said before she get inside her car

I'm looking to her picture, I didn't know that my smile was so big. After some walk, I decided to go back to our hotel and sleep. I think I'm gonna have a good sleep tonight

A morning came

I woke up because of the noise, I quickly go to bathroom to brush my teeth and to wash my face and when I get out of my room I saw our friends laughing, I went to them and sit down on the couch, they seemed surprised so I clear my throat before I speak

"What's wrong, guys?" I said as I get the coffee infront of me. They looking at me as if they felt sorry for me. I hate this kind of feeling.

"I saw Jennie last night, she's excited about her upcoming wedding which broke my heart. So, let's pretend that she and I are strangers, okay?" I said showing them a fake smile. Minnie suddenly hug me, I feel like I am the weakest person living on earth. Jennie is my strength but also my weakness .

"I'm going to hospital to get my things after the accident, do you want beer and chicken when I comeback?" I offered. After a seconds I hear their hands clapping as if they're amazed by what they saw

"Lalisa is back" Seulgi said as she run towards me to give me a hug. This is all I need today, a hug from my friends

"I'll be back, don't burn down the hotel, okay?"

I'm now on my way to Seoul Hospital when I get operated, I directly go to my doctor that bambam assigned for me

"Are you Ms. Manoban? Bambam said I should give you this and this" the doctor said while giving me the small pouch

I opened the yellow pouch and saw my old phone, my wallet, my watch and even my earings and necklace. I open the pink pouch and saw Jennie's things and our engagement ring that I gave her before the accident.

I quickly drove to their company to talk Mr.Kim, I am now already here in the elevator and for fuck sake. I don't know why but I feel like it's a wrong move. My guts telling me not to go but my body automatically move on its own.

I reached Mr. Kim's office and a familiar guy appeared out of nowhere on my side and pinch my cheeks. "How are you?" Kim Hanbin asked while examining my whole body.

"I'm okay now... I began to work again. I'm actually here to work." I replied. "They're inside. Are you sure you want to face them?" He added before we stopped infront of Mr.Kim's office.

I was about to walk but I hesitated. He held my arm and pull me somewhere. I came back to my senses when a fresh air landed on my skin. "I see, Jennie is still your weakness. I really don't know why Taehyung is now my sister's fiance. I mean, he knows that you and Jennie are past lovers." Hanbin said.

"Since you guys are still studying, I already can sense that Taehyung is up to nothing. I just sensed that he's into Jennie..." he added. I just let out a sigh and held the handtrail and look down. " I came here for work and for her... but I didn't know that she's already in someone's care. should I just give up?"

"if that's what you think is better for the both of you then do it, Lisa. As your best friend, I want to see you happy. Even if the reason behind those pretty smile is not my sister. I'll still support you." He said looking directly at me. I looked back and hug him.

"Thank you, Hanbin. it really feels great knowing that nothing changed between us after what happened to me and Jennie." I said as I burried my face on the crook of his neck. I felt his hand caress my hand making me smile.

"is this a new dating place now?" A familiar voice said.
