Bendy hurried down the hallway, pausing to look behind corners. He had to evade the guards again, but for much different reasons. He was supposed to be in bed, but since he just had a bath, really didn't want to. He stopped to duck inside a closet, closing the door behind him. He made sure his tail was still with him, since it often got stuck in doors.
Armored footsteps sounded from behind the door as he instinctually froze. When they faded away again, he relaxed. He sighed, leaning against the door, tail flicking idly. He had far too much energy for his own good sometimes. It wasn't uncommon for games like this to happen. He would hide, and the guards would seek. The foundation cheated though, using the cameras to track where he was.
Bendy had his own tricks though, teleporting when out of view or using the vents. He had given the foundation a right scare when they couldn't find him for a whole day. He had actually fallen asleep in the vents. It was an accident, but the foundation was trying to put a curfew in for him.
He cautiously opened the door, peeking out. No guards in sight, but he gave a cheeky grin to the camera. He heard the intercom buzz, "Bendy, get to bed. Or at least stay in your room. Seriously, we do this almost every week." Bendy just chuckled. "̷N̸o̷t̷ ̵t̷i̴r̶e̵d̵,̷ ̵n̵o̶t̶ ̵g̴o̶n̶n̸a̷ ̵h̴a̴p̷p̷e̸n̸.̸"̵ The man over the cam just sighed, before flipping a switch. "All units finding Bendy, he's in hallway B13."
"̸F̵U̶C̶K̴!̵"̶ Bendy shouted, before booking it. The sounds of footsteps soon followed as he was pursued by annoyed guards. They yelled at him to stop, but he only ran faster. Bendy lunged for a vent cover, ripping it off and diving in. He frantically scrambled farther in, but was a second too late
A hand wrapped around his tail, harshly trying to yank him back to the surface. He yowled in pain, since his tail was quite sensitive. It also made the hand let go real quick. Bendy pulled his tail into his hands, shaking. "Ohmygosh I'm so sorry!" A voice exclaimed from outside. He curled up in the vents, not quite ready to move. His tail throbbed, and he was softly whining.
He faced the entrance to the vent, lying his head on his hands. If somebody reached in, they would be able to reach him, so Bendy could only hope nobody tried. He would have to stay here for a bit, since his tail was out of commission. His tail helped him balance, and without it he wouldn't be able to do much. It was best to wait for the sharp pain to stop.
Hands entered the vent as he tried to shimmy backwards. Bendy's tail protested the movement, sending shards of pain up his back. He let out a whimper as hands wrapped around his forearms, and he was slowly pulled out. Bendy let out a hiss as light pierced his vision, his torso out of the vent.
He was pulled into a man's tight embrace, people converging on him. Bendy whined at the attention. He was hurried across the facility, ending up in an examination room. He was placed on the table, back up. Bendy's tail ached painfully at the motion, and he lied still.
A man ran his hands down his back, and Bendy tilted his head. "Hey buddy. Told you that you should have gone to bed." One of his favorite scientists said. Bendy just hissed.
"You know what I have to do, right?" Bendy just sighed, but clutched the table tighter. He knew. Saltzer ran his hand down Bendy's back, checking for a misalignment. His tail was connected directly to his spine, so it was quite easy for accidents to happen. Yanking on his tail was basically the equivalent of yanking on his spine. No good could come out of it.
Dr. Saltzer's hand slid downwards, towards the frayed looking tail. "Ready?" Bendy just nodded, gripping the table so hard it actually hurt. The doctor's hand started sliding down the length, checking for any breaks or tears. Bendy's breath became choppy and he shook lightly when the human reached the most painful part of his tail.
As soon as it had begun, it was over. Saltzer removed his hands, "You are very lucky nothing broke." Bendy just growled, shaking off the lingering pain. "̵L̷u̴c̴k̶y̴ ̶m̶y̷ ̸a̸s̸s̸.̴.̷.̸"̶ The doctor snorted in amusement, but didn't respond further. "Alright, your going to bed now, no arguments." Bendy had plenty to argue for. "̴I̸m̵ ̵n̴o̴t̷ ̵t̶i̶r̴e̴d̷.̸"̶, "Still, you need to rest.", "̴I̵m̸ ̶f̷i̷n̵e̵.̷"̷, "If your so sure, why don't you walk three steps. Without falling." That made Bendy go quiet as Saltzer chortled.
Saltzer picked him up, since he only weighed around 80 pounds. "Did you gain weight?" The doctor teased. "̶N̴o̷,̵ ̶b̴u̸t̶ ̸I̷ ̸c̶a̶n̵ ̶l̵o̵o̵s̶e̸ ̶i̵t̸ ̸r̵e̶a̴l̵ ̷q̵u̷i̸c̴k̴"̷ Bendy sniped back, grinning as the doctor winced. "Right." The doctor reminded himself. Bendy could lose weight very quickly, and had trouble gaining it back. The foundation had worked very hard to get him up to his current weight, and even then it wasn't very much.
The doctor walked out of the room, nodding to the guards. He brought the troublesome Scp back to his containment cell. Saltzer placed Bendy on the bed and turned to leave. Bendy watched him, before wincing at the still lingering pain in his tail.
Right. He should sleep. He flopped down on the bed with a defeated sigh, glaring at the cameras. He could have swore they winked at him.
