* Chapter Five *
To say that I was angry would have been an over statement. I was indeed prepared to kill anyone who dared to keep causing my life to fall apart into pieces and yes, I am referring to Adrian Marshall. Less than five minutes into my pity party after breaking up with Sam and Adrian was already knocking on my door bothering me to no end. He was going to pay for this, one way or another.
“Pumpkin you need to pack.” He sang as he tried to open my bedroom door.
“Shut up asshole and leave!” I exclaimed as I posed resistance to prevent him from going in. I heard him chuckle.
“Why so angry kitten?” I growled. He was going to be the death of me, he really was.
“I swear if you keep this going I will punch you.”
“You need to let me in for that honeybun.” I growled.
“Dominique! What is taking so long? Your bags should be down here already!” My mum told me. Ugh, why did my mum had to be on his side and not mine? I heard Adrian chuckle, and I could almost imagine his triumphant grin.
“If I were you I wouldn´t take too long pumpkin.” He said, after that I stop hearing his fading footsteps. I sighed and sat on the floor with my back to the door. This sucked. I looked around my room and frowned, it looked so empty and deserted. There was a huge pile of boxes sitting on the middle of the room, they were labeled and already closed. I was ready to go, but I still didn´t want to. A knock on my door brought me out of my pensive state.
“Hey Domi? Can I come in?” I sigh and stood up. I opened the door for Kate.
“Sure, sis.” She smiled at me and went in.
“Huh, your done packing.” She said, I nodded and walked up to the pile of boxes.
“Yeah… I finished like twenty minutes ago.” I said. She smiled at me.
“I knew it! I told mum but she didn´t believe me.” I chuckled, she knew me well.
“I´m going to miss you so much!” I said as I went close to her and hugged her. She hugged me back tightly.
“I can´t believe your going to become queen.” She said.
“Ugh, don´t remind me. You need to come a visit me now that I think about it.” She froze.
“Actually, I´m not supposed to come see you until the wedding day.” She said guiltily.
“What? Why? This is going from bad to worse.” I said, she nodded.
