Chapter Four XD

                                                               *  Chapter Four  * 

As soon as the bell rang signaling the end of school, my eyes started to tear up. So many memories, so many people… I sighed. I had been at the school for over ten years; I had done so much, learnt so much. This place had always been a constant in my life and now... now, it was gone. I said my goodbyes and emptied my locker, placing my belongings inside a box that Lacey and I had gotten in the art room. I slowly walked out of the school and went to Adrian´s car. He was sitting on the hood of his car and being ogled by all the school female population, some were sighing and others were giggling even those who knew that he was the vampire prince and thus demanded respect were at his feet, gawking shamelessly. I rolled my eyes in distaste.

When he saw me he hopped off and sauntered to open the back door for me. I bit my lip to prevent myself from saying anything to him. I carefully placed the box and my school bag in the back seat, shut the door and went to sit on the front seat. He sat on the driver seat and took of the shades he had been wearing due to the sunlight affecting his sensitive eyes. He maneuvered the car with ease as we left the school. He drove with the windows down, one of his hands poised on the wheel. Even I, had to admit that he looked quite sexy while doing so. We rode in silence and I again spent the ride looking outside the window.

 

When we arrived I took my stuff and ran up stairs. I heard Adrian sigh but I ignored it. I turned on my stereo and cranked up the volume. The soft beats helped me to relax. I didn´t have anything left to do, so I grabbed one of my books and went towards my window seat. There I started reading, occasionally starring out the window. The leafs rustle loudly as the wind picked up, I smiled as I looked in awe as my favorite season unrevealed in front of my eyes, the leafs were now deep oranges and read in hue, other trees had started to shed their leaves preparing for winter.

By 6:30 I was ready to go, I had put on a black long sleeve dress that came up to my mid-thigh, it was backless and had gold details on the shoulders. I was using a pair of gold glittered stilettos and my hair was in lose long curls that draped over my back. I stepped out my room in a rush; I really needed to leave the house and party for a while. Suddenly I slammed against a hard wall, I yelped as my feet gave out and I tumbled to the floor. But before I touched the ground a hand grabbed my waist preventing my fall. I breathed in and looked upwards, meeting a pair of dark eyes.

“You should watch were your going.” He said in a whisper, his cinnamon breath invading my senses. I glared at his face.

“Maybe you should step back and let go of me.” I replied coldly. He smirked and easily hauled me up. I turned around and walked away, I could somehow sense his stare. I shuddered at the thought, god I need to get a grip. I found my sister watching TV inside her room.

“Hey Kate, can I borrow your car? I´m going to Lacey´s” My sister turned around and whistled.

“I love that dress and yes take it, just don´t cause any dents on my baby like last time.” I chuckled and nodded.

“Thanks! I promise I´ll not crash it again.” Her expression became worried at that, I giggled and left.
