Chapter 11

"ASHLEY... ASHLEY!!!!" I hear someone scream. I go down stairs to find Trevor. "Why are you in my house?" I say laughing. "I have a really big problem...." He says with a worried look on his face. "What is it Trev?" I asked. I'm starting to get worried too. "Well stuff got heated between Emilie and I a couple nights ago..." He starts. "AND?!" I'm getting frustrated. "Well she started throwing up and so I went to the store and got a pregnancy test and it was positive..." He trails off. "Well it was probably just a faulty one! How many did she take?" I'm starting to sweat. "4, and they were all positive." He says. "Wait... You guys are only 16!! No, this can't happen!! Omg she can't be pregnant! I'm not even pregnant and I'm 21!! She's too young. I mean so am I, but I'm not in school anymore!!" By now I'm just going through thoughts in my head.

"Oh my god, I need to talk to her! Where is she?!" I yell to him. "At the o2l house!" He yells back. Jc runs out of the house to catch up with me. "Where are you going?" He questions. "To talks to Emilie!" I'm angry. Really, really angry. "Babe, slow down!" I stop. "I can't slow down Jc! One of my best friends is pregnant and she's only 16! I need to talk to her!" I start to run again and I make it to the house. I burst in looking for her. She's sitting on the couch watching tv. "DID YOU NOT USE PROTECTION?!" I scream at her. "Well, no.... but I didn't think I would get pregnant!" She says back. "You realize that you are only 16 and are still in school... RIGHT?!" I say with the harshest tone possible. "I know that, but I'm not putting this child up for adoption or aborting it!" She says calmly. "And how are you going to support this child? You don't have a job and you live with no parents!" I say. "I haven't thought that through yet. Ok!" I leave the house trying not to say anything else. Because I know if I do it will hurt someone. I get back to the house and lay on my bed. I hear Jc walk in. I scream into my pillow.

"Would you calm down? Geez, why are you so hormonal!" Jc says walking into the room. "I'm not Jc, ok? My best friend is pregnant with no parents to help her!!" I scream at him. "Well, she'll figure that out!" He yells back. I run downstairs and jump on my penny. I ride to the little park a couple blocks down. I sit in a swing to just think. To think about what has happened In the last hour.

I've been sitting here for 2 hours and it's already dark. I hear footsteps behind me. And I see Jc. "I don't want to talk right now." I say. "Baby, come home. I need you in our bed so I can sleep without a doubt in my mind that you would leave me." He says quietly. I turn around and get off the swing. "I would never leave you." I say kissing him softly. I go to walk back to where my penny is but he grabs my wrist. "Jc..." I say looking back. "I love you. Don't ever forget that." He says kissing my forehead. "I love you too."

It's the next morning and I feel like I need to apologize to Emilie. I ride my penny over to the o2l house. I just walk right in. "Emilie, I'm so sorry! I was just in the wrong state of mind when I came here. I hope you can forgive me. And I'm really excited for you." I say. "I'm sorry too. I didn't mean to disappoint you." She says. "No, you didn't disappoint me! I'm excited!" I say while pulling her into a hug. "Let's go get some Starbucks!" I say pulling away. "Ok!" We say goodbye to Jc and Trevor. I order my usual, a vanilla bean frap. And Emilie orders a cotton candy one. we just talk about what she would name the kid if it was a boy or a girl. We head back home to find Jc passed out on the couch, and Trevor singing up in his room.

Emilie goes upstairs to say hi to Trevor and I go over to Jc. I start to poke his forehead. But then he grabs my hand. (I didn't know he was awake😂) And he pulls me in to kiss him. Things start to get heated. "Jc, not here." I whisper. "Ugh, fine. But just remember that if we were at home, things would have escalated quickly." He says chuckling. "Jc!" I whisper shout Kinda thing.
