As I was getting ready for the dinner with the team I heard a knock at my door. "Coming!" I said putting my earring in. I had just gotten news that my parents were coming back because they were out of town for two months. I was used to them not being here it didn't bother me, yes I'll admit I did get bored of being the only child I'll admit. "Oh hey Connie! I'm almost ready hold on!" I said while putting my coat on and my heels on. "Wow y/n you've out done us all!" Connie said making me laugh a little. Connies mother was picking us up for a thing tonight though I didn't know if Allie was going. "Ok I'm ready!" I said shutting the front door and getting into connies mother car. "Are you sure we can trust these varsity dudes?" I said looking at Connie with a questionable face. "Relax y/n besides maybe Adam will be there..?" She said looking at me. Connie was always chill but not around the ducks she was happy and excited t be around unless you get her mad. At the dinner place
Wow this place is pretty, I thought to myself. I walked into the place with Connie and it seemed as if we were late. We walked into the private room where everyone else was and everyone was talking. Though some boys were looking at Connie and I and it sorta made us uncomfortable. I took connies hand to where Allie was and she was near Adam and some other ducks. "Hey boys..." I said smiling lightly, sitting next to Adam and Allie. Connie sit across from me next to guy. I honestly didn't feel like eating the only thing I could think about was seeing my parents tonight. I look to my right and see Adam with his head down. "Hey you ok...?" I said look at him with worryness. He looked up at me and boy did he look cute. "Oh hey y/n you look beautiful." He said making me blush a-little. "Adam what's up you look down.." I said looking a bit worry. "Are you gonna go out with that kid.." Adam asked me. How did he even know about that...ALLIE. "Adam...that doesn't matter." I said looking up at him. He put his hand on my lower thigh and put his head down. "Y/n...can we please stop fighting." He said with sadness. "Adam....your sister can hear us...shh." I said quietly. Although I did wanna get back with banks I couldn't talk about it here..In front of his sister especially. "Adam can we talk about this later..ple-" I said but then got interrupted , I look over to see Riley getting up from his chair and saying stuff that's annoying. I look back at Adam to see a varsity player whispering into his ear he looked over at me with sadness in his eyes. "I'm sorry y/n..." he said whispering into my ear getting up from his chair after Riley called out for him. I turned my head back to Adam who kept his head down. "I hear it's a cake!" Guy said and everyone seemed excited but me...I just kept thinking about Adam and if he was ok. All of a sudden some people came in and rolled in a cake that said "thanks for dinner losers!" I looked over to Charlie who looked as if he was gonna rip those guys heads off. Then one of the waiters handed Charlie a check that was $857 dollars. Charlie undid his tie and sighed.

"This can't be happening"

"How will we pay for that!"

"I can't believe this!"

"I knew this would happen!"

"Well boys looks like we have work to do." I said staring at everyone. I didn't mind cleaning up though I did want to talk to Adam about earlier. After we cleaned up everything the boys were talking about pulling a prank on them. Though I didn't want to be apart of it because I thought it was stupid. Then connies mom had come and get us all and boy everyone was haft asleep.
