The junior varsity wanted to get back at the varsity for yesterday so they decided to this ant prank on them though I didn't want to be apart of it. The next day I woke up to Connie waking me up. "Ugh what time is it.." I said looking over to my clock on my night stand. "Connie...why'd you wake me up at 4:30!? This is my only day I get to sleep in." I said getting up and going to the bathroom. "Well we sorta prank the ant prank and they sorta challenged us to a pre-Junior varsity show-down..." she said moving towards me. "Ugh why, why this day... Allie and I aren't even in a good place because of what happen at brunch yesterday." I said sighing. "How are you not mad that Adam blurted it out..?" she said asking me, I would I even be mad at him I couldn't do it. "Because I don't know can we just go?" I said heading down stairs and walking outside. "We're talking about this later y/n.."Connie said getting into her moms car with me following her. We then got at the school and I wasn't really in the mood to be doing this stupid showdown at 5 in the morning. I walked into the locker room and everyone was snickering I looked around and didn't see Allie and my face fell because right now she would be running up and hugging me. I then followed the team out to the rink and we skated in laps for warm up. I went over to the side to see Charlie looking at the varsity warming up. "Hey you ok you look bleached." I said looking to where he was looking. I then saw Adam coming over to us and I smiled at him and he did the same he tried telling Charlie that he wasn't apart of it but Charlie scoffed and called him a preppy and walked a away. I looked over to Adam who had a sad face as he was skating away. "Break a leg..." I said pulling Adam into a kiss before skating off. "Charlie what the hell was that...he still a duck." I said going over to Charlie hitting his shoulder. "Oh please y/n he doesn't even love you...open you damn eyes he's probably using you like he did to us." He said scoffing and turning his head over to the team. "What did you just say..." I said glaring at him and he turned around and the team widened their eyes. "He doesn't love you." Charlie said looking at me mad. "Oh please what would you know about love." I said slapping him across the face and skating out of the rink. He looked shocked and so did the team and the varsity. I then ran into the locker room taking off my skates and my gear when Adam walked in. "Hey you ok....we all saw you slap Charlie across the face did he say something mean?" Adam said walking over to me and sitting on the bench. "Adam...are you using me?" I said looking up at him who looked shock I asked that. "No...why would you ask that?" He said laughing alittle bit. I got up and grabbed my bag, "because....Charlie said you were...I'll be back later I  need to get out of here." I said walking out and leaving Adam in the locker room alone. The only place I go to talk about my problems was Allie but she was mad at me but I still went to her house to see how she was and her mom answered the door. "Oh..hi y/n allies up in her room." She said walking away from the door. I walked up to allies room and knocked on the door...no answer I knocked again and no answer I said "Allie please answer I need someone right now...Charlie is out of his mind...and  the team is just broken." I said sliding down her door. "Ugh y/n just go away...." Allie said throwing a pillow at her door. I didn't go home though I waited and waited and waited. But she never opened her door and it was nighttime. "You know I'm never leaving." I said to her. She ignored me again and just stayed there not getting up. I then turned my head to see Adam walking in with a bloody nose. I ran downstairs over to him and said "holy crap..are you ok who did this?!" I said grabbing a wet paper towel and cleaned up his old blood on his face. He threw his stuff down and sighed "Charlie's crazy I swear....basically I was trying to get the puck while he had it and he got pissed and threw me down in the goalie post and I yelled at him and he did the same then I threw him down and everyone started to fight until the coach caught us in time." Adam said taking his shoes off. "God what is happening to us right now...this is too much...I can't." I said putting my head in my hands.  Adam came over hugged me and we then went over to his room and I sat on his bed while he went to start the shower. I grabbed a book off his shelf and started to read it while he was in the shower. I then heard the shower turn off and minutes later Adam walked out and went over to his dresser and grabbed sweatpants and a shirt. He then came over to me and kissed my cheek lightly and grabbed the book I was reading and tossed it on the bed. "So has Allie talked to you yet..?" He said grabbing his clothes. I looked up at him and grabbed his blanket and put it on me. "No...you?" I said looking at him. "She won't even get in the car with me." He said laughing a bit grabbing his science textbook. I looked at him with worry and sat up. "What if she never forgives me Adam..what if.." I so get caught of by Adam. "Stop with the what if..crap...she'll forgive you." He said sitting with me on his bed. Adam knew that I overthink things. "Do you have any painkillers or Tylenol." I said getting up and walking to his dresser grab my water. He looked at me with worry. "Yea why what's up?" He said with concern, I looked at him and laughed a little. "It's fine I just got checked into these boards yesterday at our game." I said putting my hand on my hip. "Why don't you tell me these things dude." Adam said walking over to me and putting his hand on my hip. "Adam stop I'm ok really just give me some pain killers and I'll be fine." I said moving his hand looking up at him. He sighed and ran downstairs, Adam was the type that would overreact over something stupid. Adam then came in with an ice pack and chocolate and medicine. I smiled and kissed his cheek and he smiled at me and I did the same. "There you go also your staying tonight." He said giving me the ice. I looked at him and playfully rolled my eyes as I sat on his bed and he joined me. "Adam..I haft to get home you can't hold me captive." I said laughing while playing with his hair. "Sorry but the answers no." He shrugged laughing.
