Escape.

EMARA'S POV*

Maybe I could escape I thought, looking at the half cracked open window. But what about the others? What will they have to savage for my actions. But yet, the outside is so inviting. I have to save myself, save myself from all this pain and suffering. 

I ripped through Abbey's clothes, how can she have so much? Till I found it, just what i needed. A scarf, i tied it around my wasit while also tieing it to the window pain. 

' Okay Emara ' I thought to myself. ' You can do this '. I slwoly crawled through the tiny space inching my body through squeezing tightly. Till I was finally out, breathing fresh California air. I climbed down from the roof with only 3 cuts and bruises from the landing. 

My first insinct was to run, but I then heard pounding. On what sounded like a window. I looked behind tall shrubs to see Abbey, Janel, Clarissa, and Kellyn. ' Oh my god ' I mumbled grabbing a rock in my hands. 

I through the rock at the window smashing it open. " Common, crawl through "! I loudly whispered and they all did as told. If he'd found out I thought, we'd all be dead. " Run common '' I yelled taking off into the woods. 

A few of us stumbled and fell on the way but we made it to the dirt path safetly. 

" Let's follow this trail ", Abbey stated. " It's the way we came in, it's the way were coming out ". We all decided to take Abbey's advice trying not to leave any evidence we walked down this way. 

" I see light "! Janel cried out looking foreward. We ran to the busy street ahead covered in mud and leaves from the dirty woods. 

" We need to get to a pay phone "! Kellyn said picking limbs out of her hair. We all turned to her in stupidity. " With what money "! Clarissa said smacking her in the head. Kellyn rubbed her head then crossed her arms. " Sorry " she quickly mumbled. 

" Im sure we can find some spare change on the ground all over the place guys, its California ". I said sarcastically. They all agreed as we started down the side of the road picking up everything and anything we could possibly find thats money wise. 

" I've got twenty five cents "! Janel screamed hopping up and down. I turned to her sarcastically smiling. 

" Yeah, we only need 75 more "! I squealed rolling my eyes. Janel shook her head eyeing the groud for more. 

" Oh look, I found car keys "! Clarissa Yelled. We all ran over to examine her findings, " Press this "! Abbey yelled pressing the locator button. A car in the Best Buy parking lot started roaring, 

We all looked at each other with excitment. I took the keys out of Clarissa's hands. " Ladies, let's ride ". I said smirking. 

We jumped in the old Honda with excitment. " This car is junk " Abbey said with disgust. We all turned to her annoyed. " Oops " She said folding her arms slouching back. I tured the car on slowly pulling out of the parking lot. 

" Who's house first "? I said not wanting to go back to Nash's. " Emara, can we go to Aaron's. I havent seen him in years "! I looked over at Abbey smiling. " Of course ".

Driving to Aaron's made me feel free, like I was one with everybody again. I finally got out of there,

We finally escaped.
