Agatha had met Reena the night of the ball. They talked about there jobs really. It seemed weird that Agatha was meeting more royalty than anyone else she knows, most of the were helping her too.
Tedros was helping Agatha with the case, Reena was helping with the trade alliance and the case as well, and Rhian had made that deal with her.
Reena had questioned Agatha. She asked about her job, her future plans, and her life. Agatha answered honestly, not hoping to make an enemy that night.
Agatha had agreed to make a trade alliance with Shazabah. it wouldn't hurt Camelot in the long run, and the princess was someone like Agatha, not someone you want to underestimate.
Reena told them that they would leave tomorrow afternoon. Agatha packed mostly her guards uniform, and some extra clothes to lounge around in. She wasn't expecting to wear fancy dresses like Sophie does.
She had put everything into a bag before stuffing the stuff she would need for the case in a satchel. She had her notes, the letters she found last night, and some pens.
Her sword and a dagger would be the only weapons she thought she might need.
By the time Agatha was done packing, it was lunchtime. She went to her office and took lunch. She looked for anything else that might be needed.
About thirty minutes later, Tedros came by her office. He was dressed in a loose white shirt with black pants and boots. The shirt was so loose, Agatha could see the top of his chest.
"Reena says we are leaving in an hour." he said.
Agatha nodded. "I talked to Chaddick. He is going to be taking over the guard while we are gone." She said. "I gave instructions to him and Tristan to do a boot camp. They're all a little out of shape."
Tedros chuckled. "I'm sure they're gonna enjoy that." he said sarcastically.
Agatha smiled. "How are you feeling about this?" she asked.
Tedros frowned. "About what?"
Agatha sighed. "About finding your mom. don't you think it'll be weird? How will you feel?"
Tedros sighed. "I guessed that's the one question I haven't asked yet. I think I'll be mad for a while but things will eventually go back to normal. Or at least as close as normal can get."
Agatha chuckled. Tedros smiled.
"You've never told me what she was like." Agatha said. "Being honest, I don't know what to expect."
Tedros smiled. "I got my blue eyes from her. She has darker hair. She used to scold me every time I asked to play with a sword."
Agatha smiled. "She wasn't a fan of you using a sword?"
"Not after running around the palace with it instead of taking a bath."
Agatha snorted.
"What?" Tedros asked.
"Nothing." Agatha said. "You just painted a very vivid picture of six year old Tedros running around the palace butt-naked holding a sword saying how you don't need a bath."
Tedros burst out laughing. "If only I could say that didn't happen." He said.
Agatha's eyes widened. "So that actually happened?" she asked.
Tedros nodded. Agatha covered her mouth with her hand before joining Tedros's hysterically laughing fest.
"Some of the older maids have never looked at me different since that day." He said.
