"Ugh, but why do I have to meet them?" I groaned in annoyance at my manager Faith.

"Because you guys will be working together very soon." she stated simply, but with emphasis on the word very.

"Faith you know I don't like them, so why are you doing this to me?"

"Because you mr darling are loosing popularity and this whole situation will help gain some of it back."

"Whatever." I huffed and rolled my eyes at her making sure she noticed my protest before saying, "I'm not going to make your life pleasant and enjoy this, so don't go getting any crazy ideas."

I can't even begin to explain how mad I am at Faith right now. She knows I can't stand that boy band. She could have gotten anyone else for me to work with, but of course it has to be them. Him. Fate wouldn't have this any other way, or is this karma for what I did to everyone? Don't get me wrong it's not like I hate them. They are all extremely talented it's just I know if I work with them my whole world will come crashing down around me.

"Whatever Brook. That's fine as long as you're civil and act like a lady." Faith warned.

"Faith darling you know I'm not a lady and never will be. I wanna know what you smoked this morning and then give me some."

"I didn't smoke anything this morning so you can shut that pretty little mouth of yours." she's so annoyed with me I can tell, and I can't help but to smile at how good I am.

"Soo Faithie when do I get to meet these beautiful creatures known as One DIrection?" I questioned her making sure that she could hear the sarcasm.

"Soon enough. I'll give you an actual date later, but right now you have to leave for your interview."

~A couple of hours later, but still before the interview.~

I hate doing interviews so much. The interviewers are like blood sucking leeches always trying to get information out of you. I love my job though, and these interviews are part of this life. My interview today is with Ellen Degeneres and thank God for that because her interviews are always fun and she never pries too much for information.

"Brooklyn Rose Karis!" Faith yelled, "You need to be at wardrobe in three minutes, then hair and makeup after that."

"Okay whatever. I'll head over that way in a few minutes." I called back. I hate having to be on a schedule. It's so strict kind of like as if I was still a child. I slipped my phone into the pocket of the pants I was wearing and headed over to wardrobe. When I walked into wardrobe, Kathy was running around throwing clothes everywhere looking for something for me to wear during the interview.

"Kath I don't understand why you do this every single time. You know I always end up changing what you choose for me."

"I know, I know. It's just a bad habit, but I can't change it."

"Did you bring my pink cords?"

"I think so..." she trailed off, "are you sure you want to wear pants on your first public appearance in a while? It's not very appropriate for a woman."

"For christ sakes I said pink didn't I?"

"Yes you did, but they're still pants in an interview. Here they are." She yelled from across the room throwing a pair of soft pink pants my way and hitting me in the face.

"Thanks for that." I rolled my eyes at her.

"Welcome honey!" clearly she didn't get the sarcasm, "Now you need a shirt." she was rifling through a pile of different colored fabrics.
