It was a great time for the world. It was evolving and new things were being invented. People liked to call this time the Bronze Age. It is roughly somewhere between 3000 B.C. and 1200 B.C. but, no one really knew the exact date. There was not a cloud in sight. The air smelled so refreshing. The palace stood tall, overlooking the great land of Troy. Troy is a vast city, filled with many people. The houses were all made of stone bricks. There were dozens of homes on each street. Each home housed anywhere from 2-10 people. Everyone was relaxed and in a cheerful mood. Troy has become one of the most glorious places ever to exist. It was an amazing place to be and visit. There was no reason for hate or war. The world was at peace. The Trojans found nothing worth giving up peace. Zeus had blessed Troy and all of the other kingdoms of the world.

Like Troy, Greece was also at peace. The buildings were all very tall and it looked as if they were touching the sky. The houses were made with clay. Stories said these houses were the best made so far. Greek citizens were proud of the architecture of the city and the monuments that overlooked it. There were many temples in Greece that were the home of the Greek gods. There were statues of each god in the temples. The architecture of the temples is tremendous. It is mostly made of stone, gold and marble. Every god was known for something specific. Zeus is the god of all gods and the god of lightning. He has lightning bolts in his temple. Poseidon, the god of the sea, created horses, so the temple has representation of water, sea-life, and horses. Many people can worship the gods in these temples. The people of Greece were all very happy as can be. Everyday was a great day in Greece. The palace was the biggest anyone has ever seen. Its architecture was the most high technology and every other kingdom wished their palaces were as great as Greece's.

The princess, Phoenix, was the most beautiful woman to be seen in Greece. Phoenix had dark red hair and piercing blue eyes. She was known all across the world for her beauty, smarts, and skill in combat. She was an 18 year-old princess of a kingdom of Greece. Right as she became of age, she had many suitors waiting for her hand. Phoenix was desired by many kings and princes all over the world but was betrothed to another prince of Greece, Matthias. He was the first and only suitor to catch her eye.

Matthias was a 20 year-old warrior who was very strong, courageous, and independent. He has light brown hair and dark green eyes. He is known for his strength and handsome appearance. Matthias comes from the Southern Kingdom, just south of Phoenix's. He has had a rough childhood, but his marrying the Princess could turn things around for him. His betrothal is supposed to bring both kingdoms together making the lands of Greece even larger.

The king of Troy, Alexander was a greedy man. He was smart, but horrible with a sword. Alexander was nearing the age of 45. One of the things he wished to possess was a Greek Princess. He wanted a younger woman to be his wife. He was determined to forge the kingdom of Greece and Troy. He planned to convince the king and princess of Greece to end the betrothal and to marry him instead. He wanted to form an alliance with that kingdom and make his land larger. The king was very confident the Greeks would want to forge the lands and make their kingdoms the most powerful in the world.
