loopy and sweet rambles💕

Dreams pov:

I was sitting at the driver's seat trying to pay attention to the road as I listened to my boyfriend's drunken like ramblings. The two of us were driving back from the dentist after Fundy's wisdom teeth had been removed.  He had cotton balls in his mouth and drool was covering his chin as he continued to ramble about nonsense after being drugged up on numbing medication.
I realized he had stopped talking and turned to look at him a little worried only to find him staring at me with a stupid smile.

"Why are you looking at me like that weirdo?" I chuckled,
"Oh I'm just admiring the gorgeous view" he responded.

though it was bit hard to understand with the swabs in his mouth.
I rolled my eyes at the compliment and reverted my eyes back to the road, trying hard to conceal the blush on my face to no avail.
He continued his rambles,

"Y'know at first when I saw you I thought you were an angel, then the nurse's told me you were my boyfriend and I just couldn't believe it," he said resting his arm on my shoulder.

"Oh shut up" I said trying to get him to stop but he persisted much to my demise,

"Oh no please believe me, it's just, I don't think I've ever seen someone as handsome as you. I could have sworn you were some statue that came to life with how perfect you look, and when you hugged me... Well it felt like I was mealting"

I was glad to see the driveway to our house, I was as red as a tomato from the sweet words leaving my boyfriend's mouth and was ready to just get out the car,
"Alright come on lover boy lets get you inside."
I said getting out the car and going to the passenger side to help get him out.
I helped stand him up but he fumbled and almost fell, we got to the front entrance and I opened the door while he stood next to me close to falling. I opened up the door and helped him inside closing and locking the door behind us. I glanced at him only to see him about to fall face first, I quickly swooped in catching him.

"Woah babe are you okay?" I asked worried

"With the two of us like this, yeah I'd say I'm more than okay," he said referring to the little space between us.

Turned bright red and smiled picking him up so that I was carrying him bridal style to our bedroom turning redder and smile getting wider with every little flirting comment he made.
We finally reached the bedroom where I then gently placed him on the bed I laid next to him and kissed him hard on the cheek smiling In delight at how his face went red.

"I love you."
