I was in his arms for what felt like forever. He kept trying to calm me down with silent 'Shh... It will be alright, we will find her' type of thing. I finally stopped crying and I just buried my head on his shoulder.

Cain was my old neighbor and we used to play every day when we were little. We were best friends. When Autumn came along we both fell in love with her and he has been like a big brother to her. He probably feels the same sorrow as I do. I don’t remember what happened. How can I not remember!? I got hit by a bomb and I don’t remember? Come on brain... give me something here! I need to remember. I need to find Autumn. I need to see if she is okay…if she is alive.

What if she isn’t alive? What if she is gone- like that old man? The sight of his fragile lifeless body made me want to cry more. What if I see the same thing on my little sister? I would go mad. I would go crazy. She is my little sister and I can’t even protect her? I can’t even remember if I protected her. What if I told her to hide somewhere and I would come back for her? I would have never had came back for her.

This is my entire fault! I need to find her. I need to have her in my arms. I need to apologize. I need to bring her back here and we can be safe. She shouldn’t be out there all alone! She is only six! She can’t handle people throwing bombs her way. She probably hates me.

I hate me. I shouldn't have let this happen! I need to find her. I have to find her.

I stand up and I notice six eyes on me with curiosity in their features.

"Where are you going?" The brown haired guy asks me.

"I am going to find my little sister" I say and start walking towards the shadows of the tall trees.

“No you’re not", Cain got up and followed me. He grabbed my hand and tried to push me towards the picnic table but I stood tall.

"Cain. I need to find her! She is probably starving and scared! I need to go and find her. I need to help her"

He sighed and something flashed in his eyes, "Emerson" He sighed.

"Don’t you dare do that! I am going to go find her. She needs me"

"I won’t let you go alone" He says sternly.

"Then go with me" I suggested.

"Let’s just go back to the table and talk this over, yeah?" He tells me.

The only thing that makes me agree is his pleading eyes. He looks scared.

"Fine" I say as I cross my arms.

He walks behind me and I noticed that Maddox and the brown haired guy were watching us. I really need to find out his name. It’s getting weird calling him brown haired guy.

We sit at the table and it’s quiet. I then speak up," Okay. Well are you going to come with me?" I ask Cain.
