"Sneaking Out"
"Fine, I'll stay. Kraz is gonna come after me, I'm not saying I'm important, but because you .embarressed him."
"How did I embarress him? I was just having fun." Christian smiled.
"He thought he was the strongest vampire known to man, you just proved him wrong." I said. I suddenly felt like Christian needed to say something, but something was holding him back. The burning in my throat returned.
"Kylie, look, there's something you need to know, and if your father doesn't tell you by midnight, I'll tell you. I think he deserves a chance though. I need you to promise me one thing before he or I tell you." I looked at him, suddenly pissed off for having blood in his veins.
"What?" I ignored my anger.
"Don't be mad at your dad. You're allowed to kill me afterwards also."
"So, that means I'll have a reason to be mad at the both of you. But I guess I promise." I really want to know what this is about now. "Is there any food here?" I asked feeling my stomach growl.
"There should be a couple of blood bags in the fridge." I shook my head. "Oh, human food." I nodded. "No." I groaned.
"Where are we?"
"Some where." He knew if he told me, I could sneak out.
"Ok, that was vague. Are we at least still in California?" I asked, he nodded. "That means, a fast food restuarant can't be more then 30 minutes away." I thought about it.
"Fine, what do you want?" I thought about it.
"Taco Bell."
"Come on," he said walking away. I followed behind him closely so I didn't get lost. This house is much bigger then I thought. We were back in the living room.
"Where are you two going?" My dad said. I could tell my dad didn't like him. Why? I don't know. I mean Christian is a cocky bastard, but he seems nice. I had on black converse, my dad had brung them for me,along with some clothes.
"I don't want your daughter to starve, is that ok with you?" Christian grabbed a leather jacket from a jacket hanger.
"Oh, becareful baby girl. We should be far enough out of Kraz's tracking zone, but, your blood is still hidden as a human, but its something about it, if a vampire looks at you weird, disregard it."
"Ok dad, but we're just going to Taco Bell." I said taking my hair down, I didn't want the pony tail to dent my hair.
"We should go, before it gets to dark." Christian was waiting impatiently with the door open. When I walked outside my eyes scanned for a car. Christian sat down on a motorcycle. "Are you coming? Or you to scared?" I honestly just didn't want to be to close to him, the burn in my throat was still there.
"Scared? Nope." I sat on the back of bike. He pulled off and my arms tightened around his waist. When the bike came to a stop, I stepped off. I do not want to do that again, unless its someone less tasty sitting in the front. It took more then control not to take advantage of being so close to him and taking just a sip of blood.
"Come on, we should go in, its cold out here." He opened the door.
"Hi welcome to Taco Bell, how can I help you?" The girl behind the counter was staring at Christian. Shocked she didn't run screaming, vampires don't exist in her world. I ordered a 5layer burrito and a Mountain Dew Baja blast. After ordering the food I went and sat at a table. I looked at Christian realizing I hadn't gotten a good look at him. He was tall, his eyes now were green, not red, his hair was brown and hung into his eyes, his jaw was square and his pale but sun kissed skin complimented his features perfectly.
