Victoria's Point of View

Pauwi na ako nang bahay from my office I was riding a taxi because that Gabrielle Montenegro! hindi ba naman ako sunduin I left my car at the house because it's been one of his routine accompanying me and fetching me from work. I message him, I know nabasa niya pero wala manlang reply, I even message and call Mom and Papa but no sign of response. Tsk! what's happening with them! unang araw kopa naman sa trabaho andito ako at naiipit na sa traffic!

"Manong kanina pa tayo dito, hindi manlang tayo umusad! napakalaking problema talaga ng bansa ang traffic ilang presidente naba ang umupo sa posisyon wala manlang mainam na gawin para mabawasan ang traffic! Pagod na s trabaho pag-uwi mas mapapagod kasi maiiipit sa ganitong problema ng pilipinas!" Naiinis na sabi ko dito kay Manong sa totoo lang gusto ko nalang maglakad pauwi mas mabilis pa siguro kaso anong oras na eh delikado.

"Ma'am hindi po ba ikaw yung newly appointed CEO nung sikat na kompanya dito sa bansa? Bakit po kayo nag-commute ganitong oras delikado na, marami pa namang masasamang loob na nagkalat dito sa Manila, pasensya nadin po Ma'am ha kasi maaari pa sanang makahanap ng alternative route papunta sa uuwian mo ang kaso pinauna mo pa yung kaibigan mo" Mahinahong reply ni Manong infairness ha ang bait niya naguilty tuloy ako.

I check my phone pero wala padin kahit isang messages na mag-eexplain sakin bakit walang sumundo sakin. I focus on my phone, scrolling on my social media accounts I received many messages congratulating me of course, and I highly appreciated it.
Hindi kona namalayan na kanina pa pala kami nakausad sa matinding traffic, malapit na pala kami sa village kung saan ako nakatira.

"Ahh Ma'am andito na po tayo" Magalang na sambit ni Manong.

Kumuha ako ng pera sa bag at puro 1 thousand bills so I get one and give it to Manong, inabot naman niya ulit at nang makita kong nagco-compute siya ay agad akong nagsalita.

"Ahh Manong keep the change, pasensya napo kayo saakin kanina ha medyo pagod lang by the way salamat po ng marami, ingat po kayo" I said and smiled sweetly.

Napatango nalang habang nakangiti si Manong tuluyan na akong bumaba and watch his taxi slowly disappearing at my sight, hay! may mga mabubuti padin talagang natitira sa mundo.

Nag-doorbell ako pero wala pading lumalabas, I am standing here outside for almost 5 minutes pinapapak na ako ng lamok dito, I hit the doorbell button one more time at sa wakas binuksan din! it was Manang Lita our Mayordoma for almost 25 years andito na siya bata palang ako.

"Hi Manang! bakit antagal mo pagbuksan mabuti at hindi pa ako naubos ng mga lamok dito, asan po pala sina Mommy? saka sina Daddy umalis ba sila?" Sunod sunod na tanong ko.

"Ah Oo hija, oh siya pumasok kana at ipaghahanda kita ng pagkain" Sabi ni Manang at dire-diretsyong pumasok sa loob.

I am walking slowly tahimik ang kabahayan hindi ako sanay lagi kasing sumasalubong sa akin ang talak ni Mommy kay Papa ang tigas kasi ng ulo, pero ngayon ang tahimik haha cringe!. Nakapasok na ako I'm finding my phone on my bag when suddenly.........

"Surprise!!!" They shouted in glee muntik  ko nang maitapon ang cellphone ko.

"Congratulations to the newly appointed Ms. Ceo!!!!" They shouted again.

All my friends and love ones are present. Gabrielle, Mommy, Papa, Amy and Maricel with their boyfriends and also (I was shocked a bit because Gabrielle's parents was here also).... I greeted all of them.

"Hi Tito and Tita" I greeted Gabrielle's parent's and kiss them on their cheeks.

"Hi Mommy hi Papa!!" I greeted my parents of course both of them kiss me on my forehead.

"Hi Girls Hi Boys!!" I greeted my friend and we did group hug.

And of course to the man of my life.
"Hi Love! tampo ako hindi mo ako sinundo wala kang kiss sakin" I said and he automatically pouted that made them laugh.

"Love we organize a surprise for you that's part of the plan sorry na, by the way flowers and dark chocolates for my beloved Ms. Ceo" He explained and handed me the flowers and chocolates, I smiled sweetly and gave him a quick lips on his lips then on his cheeks, he froze for a while.

"Earth to my Mr. Engineer" I snap that brought him back to reality, he kiss me on front of my parents and his parents! but of course I reciprocated and push him gently.

"Thank you so much to all of you! sulit ang kagat ng lamok at ang pag-iintay ko ng tatlong oras plus dalawang oras na ipit sa traffic sa sorpresa niyong ito, again thank you I really appreciated it, I guess this is a double celebration, Congratulations also my beloved Mr. Engineer" They all smiled and Gabrielle hugs me from behind, this is indeed one of my happiest day.

We all headed to the dining area and started eating, silence covers the whole place only the sounds of the utensils we are using and the slow music was heard.

"Congrats Victoria and Gabrielle all of us are really proud on the both of you alam naming kayang kaya niyo yan" Tita Amanda broke the silence and offer a toast for the start of our success.

Matapos kumain ay nagpaalam na ang mga kaibigan namin, pati narin ang parents ni Gabs, Mom and Dad also headed to their room napagod daw ang mga matatanda😂.

Gabs and I settled on the bench located at our Mansion's garden. He immediately pulled me in to a hug and planted kisses on my cheeks, this gestures of him made my heart beat for him even harder.

"Love ano kaba! nakikiliti na ako saka ayan ka na naman halik nang halik puro laway mo na yan eh!" Pagpigil ko sa kanya Pero ang loko tuloy tuloy padin.

"Na-solo din kita! kanina pa ako naghahanap ng tyempo eh, congratulations I love you! rock them all Ms. Ceo!" He said and kiss me passionately, our kiss last for half a minute.

"Congratulations din, I'm so proud of you I know you know that. Wala kabang nakakalimutan?" I asked him pero umiling lang kakainis naman eh! it's our 3 anniversary!

I immediately stand up and ready to leave him but her immediately pulled me, we lost balance that's why we landed on the groundz I'm now on top of him. I take time to stare at his face, his brown eyes ang pogi talaga ng boyfriend ko! He tucked the hair on my faced on my ear and cupped my face with one of his hands while the other was on my waist.

"Happy 3rd Anniversary Love, thank you for staying marami nadin tayong hinarap na problema but look we're still together kasi hindi ka bumibitaw, I Love You more than anything else" He said and kiss my forehead.

He guided me to get up then ushers me going to the garage, he open the cars door for me and peck my lips aba abusado toh ah! he then enters the car he was about to start the engine but I stop him.

"Where are we going ha Mister? mapapagalitan ako ni Papa niyan hindi mo pa ako ipinapaalam" I said then raised my left eyebrow.

"Misis este Love alam na nila yon chill ka lang ikaw ha umaarte ka padin na parang 16!" He said then pinch my cheeks.

"Ewan ko sayo magdrive kana nga! dahan dahan lang ha" Paalala ko bago siya nagsimulang magmaneho patungo sa hindi ko din alam! another surprise nanaman hay this man of mine always spoils me with lots of surprises.

After 20 minutes I guess tumigil nadin ang sasakyan he open the cars door for me and held my waist we enter the restaurant together.

Agad namang nahagip ng mga mata ko ang isang taong pamilyar saakin, sino naman kaya ang kasama niya?............
