It was the first day of November and I was happy because it was Friday. Last day of the week. I got ready and headed to breakfast.

I sat with Alice as she was the only one up other than Lily who was currently talking to Severus. Alice immediately started talking about her date with Frank.

"Frank's got beautiful dark brown hair and beautiful blue eyes dont you think Rose?", Alice asked in a daze.

" Mhm he's cute", I said but my eyes were on a specific black haired grey eyed boy.

Alice followed my gaze curiosity in her eyes and a sly smile slid on her face.

"You like him don't you Rose?"

My cheeks flushed pink and I hastily made a lie. "No I dont like Sirius I was just wondering whose heart is going to break next".

"Mhm alright so you don't like Sirius but do you have any other boy in mind?"

I was about to respond, but I was interrupted a loud gasp that came from the whole hall. We saw Lily running back to Gryffindor common room with tears on her face and Alice and I followed her to our dorm.

Alice asked "what wrong Lily". "Severus is spending so much time with those future Death Eaters and is becoming obsessed with the Dark Arts and the new "Dark Lord" I told him to stop talking to them and he told me I'm just a mud blood". We both gasped. Marlene came in looked quite pleased. She said "Snape got himself detention for two months and 100 points off Slytherin I also managed to hex him quite a bit".

Marlene came over and also said, "Potter stuck up for you saying that you were an amazing person and he shouldn't have said that to you. He also said Lilly may be a muggle born but she is still smarter than you". Marlene handed them all a piece of chocolate.

Lily looked shocked and asked "Did he really say and mean that?", Marlene said "Yes I also believe he and his gang will be pranking Snape for the rest of the year".

Lily didn't want to go to class so I went and brought her the homework. Afterwards we watched a movie before we all saw the time and went to bed.
