"Do you want me to run you a bath?" Lucifer asked lovingly, a smiling tugging at his features as he looked in her direction. Chloe looked at him with a questioning look on her face but then her expression turned softened as she nodded. Lucifer stood up from the bed and walked towards the bathroom, turning on the tap in the bathtub and letting it fill. Making sure it was hot to ease her nerves, he ran his fingers under the water. After adding some cold water to soothe down the scolding heat, he made sure the temperature was right and called her into the bathroom.

"Detective, you can come in," he shouted, making sure she could hear him. After a few moments of waiting, she was stood at the door, smiling at him in awe.
"Well come on, strip down," he said as Chloe laughed at him.

Once taking all her clothes off and getting in the bath, Chloe casually lay her head back and put a leg, hanging over the outside. Lucifer looked at her in admiration, recalling all the times that he had wanted to see this sight. He leaned himself on the edge of the bath with his head on his arms.
"What's wrong?" Chloe asked noticing his change of expression. He pulled himself out of his torturous mind and responded with a simple: "I'm fine". She didn't want to pry any further but she knew straight away that something was wrong.

"Why? ... why are you here with me?" She asked with a curious expression, looking in his direction.
"Well, because I have a duty, Detective. To take care of you of course" he said in a soft caring tone.

He grabbed the soap bottle from the counter and lathered it on her skin in careful circles, releasing any unnecessary tension that was present. She relaxed more under his fingers as he massaged her skin. Closing her eyes, she laboured her breathing, trying to clear the obvious stuffiness to her nose. She tried but failed miserably. Switching legs, he did the same and massaged her skin, lathering even circles with his broad fingertips. She let out a comforting sigh and he noticed how she was breathing out of her mouth instead of her nose and the sound of her throat was scratchy.

"Do you have anything you can take?" Lucifer asked in barely a whisper. She opened her eyes to see him staring at her and she propped her head on her own shoulder.
"What do you 'take'?" She asked as confusion consumed her.
"I mean like paracetamol. You know... drugs to help" he replied with a serious tone in his voice.
"Well, I should have some migraine medicine in a cabinet in the kitchen," she said.
"Do you wanna get out?" He asked and she replied with a nod of her head before closing her eyes again. Lucifer exited the bathroom, getting an oversized t-shirt and a pair of shorts for her, laying them on the bed. She exited the bathroom with a soft towel wrapped around her body.

"You're picking out clothes for me now?" She questioned, giggling to herself. Lucifer stood there frozen as if he had been caught doing something he shouldn't have. This made Chloe laugh even more and she shook her head while making her way to the bed to get changed.
"Umm... I'll give you some privacy so you can get changed," he said nervously looked at the ground, before rushing out of her bedroom closing the door behind him.

Once Chloe was finished getting changed, she exited her bedroom, looking around as it was unusually quiet to see if she could see Lucifer but to no avail.
"Lucifer?" She shouted around her home.
"In here detective" she heard from the kitchen.

Walking down the corridor, she turned the corner to see a sight she had never expected. Lucifer cooking something in the pan he was leaned over. Rubbing her eyes, trying to kill the exhaustion lurking from the long day of paperwork she had, she went to sit on the stool opposite of the kitchen counter and stumbled, a dizzy spell washing over her. Lucifer looked at her worried before asking, "Are you okay Chloe?".
"Yeah fine. I just got a little dizzy" she replied, pointing towards her head as she steadied herself onto the stool. Changing the subject, she asked with her head propped in her hands, "So what are you making?".
"Grilled cheese. Your favorite, obviously" he chuckled, cutting through the sandwich and placing the plate in front of her. Her face lit up for a moment until she saw the bottle of strong medicine in his hand.

"Can I just go through the pain of this migraine instead of taking that?" She asked, not really expecting an answer from him.
"Well, you can but it would most likely take more time to recover, meaning more time for you to spend with me, 'alone'" he said wiggling his eyebrows suggestively while a seductive grin spread across his face. Alone. The word replayed in her head over and over until she pulled herself out of the hole she dug herself into.
"You're right," she said one hand pulling a piece of grilled cheese to her mouth while the other stretched out for the bottle in his hand. "It will be better if I just take it" she examined while stifling a giggle.

"Hey! No need to be nasty. Plus there is no denying that you don't love my massages. There's is no way you could get rid of me so easily," he laughed to himself as he thought about all of the times she had kicked him out of her house.
"Yeah, nasty. I'll show you nasty when I get my hands on you" she said under her breath.
"What was that, honey?" He asked as he appeared from behind the open fridge door.
"Oh, nothing baby," she said, a wide grin on her face as she thought about all of the 'moments' they had had in the past and the possible future ones to come.
