"We got another case Decker and I need you to go undercover again", the Lutinent said as he walked out of his office, catching Detective Decker and LAPD Consultant, Lucifer Morningstar.

"Undercover? You mean more Lucinda?", Lucifer asked, raising an eyebrow at the Lutentiant as he nodded his head. "Well this is going to be a disaster", Lucifer muttered under his breath and Chloe must have heard this as she smacked him lightly on the arm with a disapproved look on her face. He rubbed his arm as the Lutentiant began to explain the situation.

"The case that you are currently on needs our undivided attention. I think we have a serial killer on our hands" he said. Chloe sighed, rubbing her eyes, already stressed enough.
"Got it. Where and when?", she asked, trying to get this conversation already over and done with.
"You can start later today at the community house I have booked for both of you, where the crime scene used to be. No complained Detective!", he said, running off back to his office before she could even get a word in.

Lucifer had a cheeky grin on his face, about to say something before Chloe immediately stopped him with: "Don't. Don't talk. Remember I have a gun so don't piss me off with your snarky comments and odd charm!", she said swiftly as she walked towards the Precinct kitchen to get another coffee. She was going to need it...
"Aww, Detective, I didn't realise you cared", he said sarcastically, following her like a lost puppy, "But charm?", he continued. A hand over his chest, he revelled in the feeling that she noticed his charm for once. He laughed with himself at the irony.

"Don't flatter yourself", he let his smile fall slightly, turning into a pout. She sighed and shocked her head, ushering him to either leave or help her with paperwork until later on where they would be creating their new fake life. When he decided that he was just going to go to his Penthouse, have a drink, and get ready for the undercover case that was coming up for the both of them, it didn't really surprise her at all. She knew he despised paperwork and took every chance to avoid it. She decided to head home when she got through a lot of her paperwork but most importantly, four cups of coffee.

After agreeing that Lucifer would pick Chloe up from her house, she got dressed in different clothes, more casual than her usual style. She picked out a plain, white t-shirt that she tooked into her black, ripped jeans with a small belt, holding up the jeans. Picking up her phone from the kitchen counter, she saw a text from the Devil himself.

Lucifer: On my way. Don't laugh at my outfit. It's improvised :/

Chloe: What did you do?

Lucifer: Just don't laugh...

As she received the text, the doorbell to the front door rang throughout the apartment. She headed straight for the door, already knowing who it would be. Turning the handle and opening it, she had to drag her hand to her mouth just to restrain herself from giggling.

There Lucifer stood in a Hawaiian, loose shirt that hung from his muscles, showing them off clearly, and some light blue shorts, going down to just above his knees with some normal black trainers. She snorted slightly and he gave her an annoyed look, narrowing his eyes at her.

"Sorry. I just... I didn't expect that", she explained, waving her hand around in the general direction of the clothes he was wearing.
"Yeah, yeah", he said as he ruffled his odd-looking unstyled, jet black hair, his natural curls showing, and sighed effortlessly.
"And you look beautiful as always", he sighed giving a soft smile as he placed his hands on his hips, tightening the shirt further. Chloe blushed surprised by the comment even though he was only being as charming as he always is.
"Thanks, Lucifer", she smiled softly, her cheeks now a crimson red by the way he was smirking at her.
"Ready to go to our new life?", he asked smugly as if it would somewhat make her uncomfortable. She nodded, grabbing everything she needed, sticking her suitcase into the boot of the car and locking the front door all before hopping into the car with him. Lucifer sat in the passenger seat as always. They needed to blend in so instead they took Chloe's car as it was more casual that Lucifer's sleek, jet black, shiny Chevrolet Corvette C1. Ohh how she loved that car.

Pulling out of the driveway, they made their way straight over to the community house. A large metal gate and a security guard at the doors entrance greeted then when they arrived.

"Well I didn't expect the place to look like a prison when we arrived", Lucifer said, clearly concerned.
"Yeahhh.... I guess they must have bumped up security to help protect the place", Chloe said slightly confused. Getting past security, they headed straight to the house they had rented out for the next few days. When Chloe entered, Lucifer close behind with some of their baggage, it was definitely bigger than both of them expected. There was a large loving room when you walked in, a kitchen attached to it and a patio that lead out side to a small jacuzzi however upstairs, there was a large king size bedroom, a white tiled bathroom that was part of the room and a spare room that could have been used for storage that they probably would have used if they were actually staying longer.

"So only one bedroom huh?", he said, an expression spread across his face which could be marked as mischief. Chloe rubbed her temple with her hands and sighed.
"Lucifer, I'm not sleeping with you. For the last time, I'm not going to sleep with you", she repeated for what it felt like the last time as she closed her eyes, silently hoping it would be.

Lucifer pouted as she opened back up her eyes, shook her head and walked towards the bedroom to unpack some of her clothes from the suitcase.
