When Carmen attacked Graham, she felt devastated. She had attacked one of her oldest friends, and he was the person who helped the most in order to retrieve her memories. What will happen, if she encounters him, after he walked into civilian life?

Carmen froze. Her heart stopped. The world seemed to be stopping. A thousand different emotions ran through her. Her face twisted into an expression of disbelief. She remembered the melodius thick Australian accented voice. How could she not? She liked it so much. She was so scared Gray would hate her. She had attacked him. She wouldn't be surprised if he screamed and yelled at her. She closed her eyes and turned back.
He wore an identical expression of shock. The similar feelings ran through Graham. Disbelief, comfort, sadness, happiness, a lot of happiness. But a nagging fear said Carmen would blame him for letting her go. For not bringing her, her memories back sooner. He was almost scared. Suddenly, a memory came back to him.
She turned back, and saw him. The first thing she noticed was he looked handsome. Gray was absolutely rocking his look. He had slightly longer hair, was a bit more tanned, had hollower cheeks, and looked a bit more muscular. But this look suited him, and he looked more handsome than ever.
"How — What?" Carmen questioned, still stunned.
"I should be asking that too!" Graham said.
"What are you doing in Rome?" He asked. Carmen led the way to the compartment in which Otter Man lay unconscious.
Gray blinked seeing him. Carmen's cheeks reddened a bit. Meanwhile Gray had a grin on his face. "So I take it, he," Gray pointed a thumb towards Otter Man. Carmen bit her lip, and smiling sheepishly said, "Yes?"
Graham laughed. He couldn't help himself. Carmen look bewildered. "You should've seen the look on your face," he chorlted out. Carmen started laughing too. The moment, for a split second looked like they were in Vile, before graduating, just fooling around. They were such nice days, when stealing was just a game...
"So what are you doing here, these days?" Gray asked. Otter Man lay forgotten.
"Me? Nothing.. I just.. nevermind, what about you?"Carmen asked awkwardly.
"Eh, nothing new mate, it's all normal." He said just as awkwardly.
Just as he said that, someone came into the compartment. "Graham, mate, we need to go." The person blinked.
"Er, coming Noah,"Graham said, getting up. Noah left. "A cuppa? Next week? Tell me everything about what you did after Vile was captured. Please?" He asked hopefully.
"Yes... Gray, see you then," Carmen answered and walked away.
Graham suddenly wondered why he invited her. It seemed like a mistake. He did not want to complicate her life. But he couldn't help himself, he missed them hanging out. It had been many years now.
Gray sat there for a few more seconds, sighed happily and walked out, leaving Otter Man there. His friend Noah was waiting outside.
"So, who is she?" He raised and eyebrow suggestively. Graham didn't get the hint. "Just an old friend," he replied.

"Carmen, why? You said it was for his safety!" Player asked. Carmen sighed. "I know.. But it's alright, Player. Did you inform the others about capture of Otter Man?"
"Yes Red, I also booked you a flight home," Player said.
"Thanks Player, I don't know what I'd do without you." Carmen said.
