It's been 1 year since the leaf and sound war orochimaru is still in the konohas cell and isn't interested in escaping maybe it's because of kabuto's and his sound 5 being slain his all alone with his bad memory..
Well as for me I am a Jonin now at the age of 14 well it's not like I can reject but it's because of the sound-leaf war it made the leafs man power to it's all time low that has made chunins into jonins for lack of man power I was assigned as a night watcher the 2nd generation of ino-shika-cho combo are at night shift with team 7 and our sensei's it's tiring but it has to be done the 3rd hokage has had a meeting about giving the leaf a solution to the lack of man power but it's not being spreaded yet...I wonder what sai-kun is doing....
Sai's pov
"Sigh" I was bored out of my job I was now in charge of assassinations that has to be a "captains job"but lack of man power has made it complicated and the assassinations has been too boring now I mean my target is a war Lord of the samurai's but it's not that easy and I have to make a great timing at the warlord worst of it is his royal guards are almost heavy armored that it's hard to take down man..wish I can go home now...I made my move as I saw the warlord gaze at his window I quickly summon an ink snake and send it at the warlord for silent kill but I had a just in case plan if that fails I'll bomb the camp..(I know lazy at assassinations but it's easy said than done) I keept my eye on the snake and I think it did the trick as I saw the snakes choke out the warlord as he falls to the ground I smile at my victory and went on home as I am sure that the warlord is dead I sprinted home as I can finally rest at konoha again ......

Sai's pov

Guard:hold it where are you going?
Uh home..I said half joking then he pressed something hard on my back
Guard:you think it's funny huh?
"Sigh"ino you can quit it now I'm tired
Ino:Eh.!! You know it's me?
Uh yeah mind transfer jutsus over kotetsu and izumo for fun is forbidden now where are you?
Ino:hmmp I'm at the guard tower I'm just joking
So when does your shift end?
Ino:maybe 15minutes why?

I walked to my apartment and was too tired to wash my armor so I just casted it to the side ill do it tomorrow
I changed my clothes and grabbed my jacket  and went to see ino I was walking down to  ichirakus  when I saw ino in her usual attire I can see she was freezing so I took of my jacket walked behind her and made her wore it she was spooked at my actions as she looked at me I can see her face reddened and her ears she had a surprise look
Ino:uh..sai-kun what are you doing?
You looked cold so I made you wore my jacket
Ino:oh..okay so let's eat?
Sai:Yeah go on take a seat I'll seat beside you
Ino:oh okay I took a seat and ordered a miso pork ramen
Sai:I'll also have a miso pork ramen
Ino:I smiled at him he looks a little tired maybe it's because of the missions he's in (then I popped a question)
You okay?
Sai:uh yeah I'll manage
Ino:he smiled at me and I smiled back it was a great night for me with him back at the leaf/sound war he was protective he even knocked me out just to get me out of the field and I owe him for that(I was too busy on my thoughts that the food was already their in front of me )
Then Sai was feeding me that made me blush*blush*
It made me reddened (damn how can he make me blush like this)

Sai:I know it's just you look tired and out of focus and your food is starting to get cold so I made a move

They continued eating together laughing and when they were both done Sai walked ino home and Sai walked home by himself with a huge grin that made me think of a happy teen that had a date..
