Minghao: (Taking a deep breath) New start in a new place. I hope it's better than what's gone.
Leaving the country, heading to Seoul for further studies. I know Korean, but not that fluently. (How will I survive, god damn it?)
Minghao's Thoughts: Oh, how will I manage!? I've got SeungKwan. I should call him and let him know I'm coming to Korea. I remember SeungKwan. Our families often visited Korea for vacations when I was a kid. SeungKwan's family lives across from my aunt's house, and they have a good relationship with my family. We used to meet, play, and have fun at my aunt's house, and over time, we became friends.
(Despite the anticipation of a new beginning, Minghao couldn't shake off the emotional scars from the divorce. The wounds were still fresh, and the pain lingered in the corners of his mind. Moving forward seemed daunting, and the prospect of healing was a distant hope.There were questions that has still occupied his mind and heart. Boo: Hey! Boo, it's Minghao.
Boo: Minghao, where were you? It's been a month since you called. Did you forget me?
Minghao: Calm down, let me speak first.
Background Voice: Let him speak first, babe.
Minghao's Thoughts: Babe? Oh, it's him. Boo told me about him. Haha, interesting.
Minghao: Boo, are you with someone? Did I disturb you?
Boo: No, no one's here. Don't be stupid.
Minghao: Okay, who is that guy?
Boo: No one. Didn't you get that?
Minghao: Fine, I'll guess. Is it Vernon, your roommate?
Minghao's Thoughts: Silence!!! Okay, it's Vernon.
Boo: Forget that. Why did you call?
Minghao:(jokingly)Rude. Anyway, I'm coming to Seoul for further studies.
Boo: Don't joke. Are you serious? We haven't met in years. I'm going crazy!
Minghao: Calm down. I'll be there on Monday, 9:00 am.
Boo: Day after tomorrow! Okay, I'm excited!
Minghao: Okay, pick me up from the airport, and I'm staying at the college dorm.
Boo: Why not an apartment?
Minghao: I want to socialize.
Boo: You hate living alone.
Minghao: Okay, fine. But I don't want to be a third wheel.
Boo: Forget it. If you've made up your mind, I won't force you.
Minghao: Thanks for not forcing me into being a third wheel.
Boo:( Annoyed). Good luck. Excited to meet you again.
