"HOPE!!! WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT THESE DAMN GRADES??" Hope fearfully bounced her way down the stairs to see her mother standing by the front door, Hopes report card in hand.

Hope could've sworn that she had all A's and B's, did her teacher change grades last minute?

"Oh my goodness, you should've seen the look on your fucking face, that was too funny" Hopes mother chuckled out.

Hope let out a deep breath before responding "Holy shit ma, you can't do that to me. I was so fucking scared."

"Anyways, keep up the good work love and you'll be able to move out of the country after you get your bachelors." Hope waited till her mother left before she started silently cheering.

•Present•

Sobs can be heard all throughout the house coming from the groups parents. Some of the parents weren't ready to let their babies go at all, but some definitely were.

Karma and Forest just wanted to get the hell out of there, as everyone's sobbing gave them both a headache. Flame sat on the kitchen island messing with his new lip piercing. Truly and Honesty chose to stare blankly at their parents and not get close to being emotional.

The rest of the group hugged their parents as tight as they could knowing they won't visit each other for a while.

The gang had spent majority of their late high school and college years saving every dime they had in order to emigrate to Equi.

Karma would be continuing her career in Equi as a music producer. While Flame will take his art career to Equi also. Both artist kept themselves anonymous to their audiences.

Light was excitedly bouncing in his seat, although he was slightly nervous. A small part of Light was scared to live without his parents. Light loved his parents, and his parents did too, except his father struggled to accept the fact that he was not only gay, but due to past traumatic events and  having his childhood stripped away, he could be a bit childlike at times. But never in the "I'm going to throw a tantrum to get what I want and you can't do anything about it" type of way

Lights mother hadn't been ready to let her baby go at all, however she knew that Light would be happier with his 8 friends rather than spending his whole life living with his parents. 

Flames parents knew their boy would be fine on his own, however they feared his hotheadedness would get him in trouble.

•On the Plane•

The group of nine were now seated in the plane. Essence, Truly, and Honesty had the window seats. Serendipity, Light, and Forest were seated in the middle seats, while the rest took the isle seats.

"Ok I'll admit that I'm both anxious and shitting myself out of excitement at the same time" Serendipity bounced around in her seat. Essence shortly glanced at Serendipity before returning his gaze to his book.

"Please turn off all electronic devices or set them to airplane mode, buckle your belts and prepare for takeoff" sounded the intercom.

Flame looked over, reaching for Lights iPad to turn it off. "M'sorry" Light sincerely apologized believing he was in trouble, big brown doe eyes boring into Flames gaze.

"You're not in trouble, I just need to turn it off for a few minutes until they say it's ok to turn it back on" Flame reassured Light. Truly shot Flame a shit-eating grin causing Flame to subtly flip him off.

"What a fucking child" commented a middle-aged woman from across the aisle.

"Watch your fucking mouth, you hungry hippo looking hag" Flame snarled. The woman huffed before returning her attention to her snickering husband.

"rude" Light pouted, kicking his feet.

"Sorry bear, that lady must've gotten a coconut thrown at her head, she doesn't know what she's talking about. Besides, Light is the best, don't you think so guys" Flame comforted the small boy, receiving nods and hums of confirmation from the rest of the group.

"You may now turn on your electronics. The snack and drink carts will be coming around shortly." the loud feminine voice sounded over the intercom.

Flame pressed the side button on the iPad before handing it to Light. Hope immediately turned on her phone and headed straight to the group chat.
