June 2nd.
H,
I miss you so much already it's nearly unbearable! I hope you got home safely and that your parents are doing well.
Yesterday was our first day in the city and it was so incredible, I wish I could find the words to describe it all to you exactly the way it felt. It was truly indescribable.
We walked around the city for a while and ate dinner in the park beneath the Eiffel Tower, then he took me to this really old building that looked like an old mansion. We dressed up in these 19th century costumes, my gown was beautiful, and went inside to this dance. Well it was more like a ball, something straight out of a Jane Austen novel (I'm sure you've read those books). We danced and danced for the whole evening. Oh, Hermione, I never wanted to leave it was so incredible.
Enough about me, I hope you'll write soon.
Love,
Ava-
June 5th.Ava,
You don't know how happy it makes me to hear that. I've been to Paris a few times, but never done anything like that. You and Cedric seem so great together, it all seems like a dream.
There's not much going on around here. Mum and Dad work nearly all day so I spend most of my time reading and I've already started on my summer assignments. I think I'll be going to the Burrow next month and I hope that you'll join us. Molly's been insisting on seeing us all there, so I'd hate to disappoint her.
Anyways, I miss you terribly and hope you're having fun!
See you soon,
Hermione-
June 7th.
Dear Hermione,
We would love to come see you all! I've already written to Ron and Harry once, though it's doubtful they'll respond.
The twins sent me a box of first draft pranks that they've come up with, though I'm scared to even open it, I'll probably lose an arm or something. Somehow they got it in their heads that I agreed to be their trial run, so if I turn into a statue, make sure you put me somewhere with a good view.
Yesterday was amazing, there was a painting class in the gardens at the Palace of Versailles that Cedric and I snuck into after taking a tour of the beautiful palace. He got me an authentic beret and it all felt so lighthearted and fun. I've included a polaroid of Cedric and I with our paintings. Spoiler alert- mine was MUCH better, but don't tell him that. He was pretty proud.
Oh Hermione I wish you were here! You would absolutely adore it. Perhaps over the winter holidays you'll come visit!
Much love,
Ava-
June 10th.
Ava,
What a dream! I loved the photo you sent, you both seem so happy to be there. I have to be honest, I'm a bit jealous of all the fun you're having, but better you than me I suppose.
Since you were so kind to send me something, I've tied a tube of toothpaste from my parents' brand to your owl's foot for you! I know it's not much, but it's about all I've got for you.
Miss you terribly,
Hermione
