Today you are sitting at your usual table in your favorite coffee shop. You often review and work on your courses here. You are focused on your work when a group of guys walk in. The owner goes see them and tells them that everything is ready. They just have to wait for the customers to finish and then they can start.
On your side, you are looking at them. You do not hear them but you see that the guys go sit down, so you go back to your work.
An hour later, you are the last customer in the coffee shop, so the owner comes to see you. The guys are sitting at a table not far away and are looking at you.
Owner : « excuse me, an event is scheduled here, we have to clear the room, I'm sorry »
You : « oh okay, sorry, I didn't know » starting to gather your stuff.
Owner : « it's okay dw »
Meanwhile :
Guy 1 : « she's cute tbh »
Guy 2 : « yeah really »
Guy 3 : « guys come on, don't look at her like that, she's gonna be uncomfortable » 🙄

Guy 1 : « I mean, she can stay here, with us » 🙂😏
While they are talking, one of them is not really focused on what they are saying and just looks at you discreetly. Then he turns to the guys.
Guy 4 : « no but guys, we're not gonna ask her to leave like that. I mean, she was just chilling »
Guy 3 : « yeah okay but we have to clear the room actually »
Guy 1 : « oh it's okay, it's just one girl, we have a lot of room here » 🙄😌
Guy 3 : « okay » sighing, smiling a bit.

You finish putting your things away, then you see a guy coming towards you.

You : « hey, uhm I know I have to leave, I'm almost done »

You : « is my accent that bad ? »
Guy 4 : « oh no, you speak very well, but we can hear it that you're not from here »
You : « well, I'm (you choose) actually » smiling a bit.
Guy 4 : « oh okay »
Guy 4 : « uhm actually I came to tell you that you don't have to leave. You can stay here if you want, we have enough room so... »
You : « oh no it's okay, I don't want to bother you, plus if there's an event I can't work, so... »
Guy 4 : « then... don't work » 🤷🏻♀️😌
Guy 4 : « we invite you to the event if you want »
You : « omg, thank you but you don't have to do that, I can leave it's fine »
Guy 4 : « it's our fault you have to leave, so please stay. It will be fun, you'll see »
You smile a bit.
You : « well... okay, why not »
Guy 4 : « cool » smiling.
Guy 4 : « oh btw, I'm Payton »
You : « y/n, nice to meet you »
Payton : « nice to meet you too. Well, come on, I'm gonna introduce you to the guys »
You : « okay »
You take your stuff and follow Payton to the guys' table.

Guy 1 : « oh cool, it will be fun »

You : « hi » a bit shy.
The guys : « hi ! » smiling.
Payton : « and y/n, this is : Josh, Jackson, Chase, Dylan and Jaden »
You : « nice to meet you guys. Are you sure I can stay ? »
Josh : « yes ofc »
You : « okay, cool » smiling a bit intimidated.
You turn to Payton.
You : « btw, what kind of event is it ? »
Payton : « oh it's a meet and greet »
You : « what ? Are you famous ? » frowning, smiling a bit.
Josh : « yes babyyy » 😎
Chase : « we just have a lot of fans on TikTok, that's all »
Josh : « and on Instagram and Twitter- »
Payton : « it's okay Josh, I think she gets it »
You : « wow, okay okay »
The meet and greet will start soon, so the guys go prepare their merch booths and the stage. You look outside and see a crowd screaming. You are a little shocked. Most of them are girls, and they are looking at you strangely. You are a little uncomfortable, so you go help the guys and check the microphones for the stage.
Josh starts singing into a mic, he is really into it, so it makes you laugh. Then he hands you the mic. You take it and decide to catch his vibe, so you start to sing while laughing a bit.
The guys turn around and look at you. You stop.
You : « what ? » 😶
Josh : « you sing well »
You : « bruh, no » 😂
Josh : « I swear » 😂
You : « if you say so »
Anyways, so you guys finish preparing the last things, then the owner comes to see you.
Owner : « is everything ready ? »
The guys : « yessir, let's go !! »
