So dumb

A few days go by, and you guys do not go to the club anymore because you are not in that mood lately, but also because you are starting to get really tired and you do not want your families to find out.

But one night, you decide to go back because the girls are leaving the next day and you want to enjoy the last night together. So, you meet in front of the club, then go inside. And as usual, you guys have a lot of fun. In the mood, everyone drinks a lot.

After a few hours, you are all a little tipsy but Tessa and Payton are completely drunk.
Clara : « Pay, you're completely drunk » laughing.
Payton : « no, I'm not »
Tessa : « ofc you are »
You : « she says » 🤡 laughing a bit.
Tessa : « what ? I'm good »
Parker : « no you're not » laughing a bit.
Tessa : « I'm telling you I'm fine- »
Suddenly, she gets up and runs to the toilets.
You : « alright » raising your eyes, smiling a bit.
You turn your head and look at Payton.
You : « and you, you should slow down on the alcohol or you'll end up like Tess »
Payton : « naaah dw »
Clara : « it's okay y/n, let him enjoy a little » 🙄
You : « I don't think I asked your opinion. »
Clara : « relaax »
Parker : « girls, please don't start »
You : « well, I'm gonna get them glasses of water »
She annoys you, so you prefer to leave.
Clara : « that's it, bye. »

You go to the bar, there are a lot of people, so you wait then order two glasses of water for Tessa and Payton.
You come back to the table, but there is only Parker.
You : « where did they all go ? »
Parker : « well, Payton went to the toilets, I think it's his turn »
You : « ugh great »
You : « and the girls ? »
Parker : « Tessa came back from the toilets, took a shot and went dancing » laughing a bit.
Parker : « and Clara idk, at the toilets I think » shrugging.
You : « at the toilets too, ofc » leaving for the toilets, a little tense.

You arrive at the toilets but you do not find Payton. You do not see Clara either. You decide to go back to the table because you might have missed them. But you do not see them, so you leave again.
Parker : « y/n, wait, where are you going ? »
You : « I'm gonna look for them, they're not at the toilets. »
Parker : « wait- ugh » getting up and trying to follow you into the crowd.

You start looking for them all over the club. You are tense and also stressed. You do not know why but you have a bad feeling.
After a while, you arrive in a corner of the club, and you find Clara stuck to Payton, making out with him.
At that moment, you remain shocked for a few seconds, you feel your heart tightening, then suddenly, a wave of anger invades you. You approach them and push Clara away from Payton.

Clara : « EH »
You : « you're such a fucking bitch Clara. » pissed off.
Clara : « y/n ? Oh no, it's you, I didn't want you to see this » playing dumb with you.
You : « stfu. »
Payton : « y/n ? »
You turn around.
Payton : « what's going on ? » lost and drunk.
You : « I'm asking you. »
Payton : « wh- »
You : « I'm so dumb.. » tears come to your eyes.
Payton : « y/n... why- » approaching you.
You : « no, don't touch me. »
You turn to Clara.
You : « you're happy, right ?! »
You : « why did you do that ?? »
Clara : « I warned you girl, didn't I ? » looking at you, proud of herself, with a little smirk.
You slap her, so you guys start to fight. Payton tries to separate you but he is dizzy from drinking.

Luckily, Parker finds you and sees you fighting, so he separates you guys.
Parker : « eh, calm down girls »
Clara : « say it to her ! »
Parker : « don't shout like that » having a bit of a headache.
Parker : « what's going on ? »
Clara : « she started hitting me because Payton kissed me » playing the victim.
Parker : « what ?- »
You : « you mean, YOU kissed him »
Clara : « uh sweetheart, you saw very well that he didn't push me away »
You want to hit her again but Parker holds you back.
Payton : « y/n, calm down » drunk.
Parker : « yeah please, calm down »
Clara : « come on, let go of her Parker, we're gonna have some fun »
Parker : « shut up Clara. »
You : « how do you want me to calm down ?? »
Parker : « please- »
You : « nah yk what ? I'm out of here, it's better » about to leave.
But Payton grabs your arm.
Payton : « where are you going ? »
You : « ...let go of me » looking at him with disappointment, then removing his hand from your arm and leaving.

You go back to his house. The girls are asleep, so you try to be discreet. You do not feel well at all, and you do not want to sleep in Payton's bed. So you decide to go knock at Faith's room. You know she will be there for you.
She opens the door, barely awake.

Faith : « y/n ?.. »
You are crying.
Faith : « omg, why are you crying like that ? What's wrong ? »
You : « I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up but... can I sleep in your room ? »
Faith : « uhm yeah but- »
You : « thank you »
Faith : « ...yw, come in » confused.
You sit on her bed.
Faith : « what happened ? » worried.
You look away, then shake your head, crying.
Faith : « y/n... »
Faith : « wait, don't move. I'll get you a glass of water, maybe it'll be better »
She goes downstairs to get you a glass of water and then goes back up to her room.

Faith : « go ahead, drink a little » giving you the glass.
You : « thanks » taking it and drinking a bit.
Faith : « ...well, now tell me. Why are you crying ? »
You : « ...I'm so dumb Faith » with tears running down your cheeks.
Faith : « why are you saying that ? Is it about Payton ? »
You look away, trying not to cry any more.
Faith : « what did he do ? »
You can not talk, you are still upset.
Faith : « okay well, you don't seem to be thinking clearly. So yk what ? You should get some sleep and we'll talk about it tomorrow
You nod. She hugs you.
Faith : « I'm here if you need anything, okay ?.. »
You : « okay.. thanks »
You lie down in her bed and try to sleep. Faith falls asleep next to you, wondering what could have happened.

Later that night, Parker's brother decides to take the boys home. He drops them off at Payton's house. Parker helps Payton up the stairs. Once in his room, Payton slumps on his bed, taking all the room. So, Parker decides to go back to his house but falls on the couch and falls asleep on it in two seconds.
