After a few moments, Sapnap came back into the room.
"You seemed to be celebrating a lot back there," George chuckled. Sapnap realized George had seen him so he decided to make up an excuse.
"Well, I'm mostly alone in the house so having company isn't so bad. I rarely invite people over, so your company would be nice." Sapnap shrugged. The lie seemed believable enough to George, so he went with it.
"That must suck, you know, not having much company. Why don't you invite people over? I mean without it your house looks so..." George looked around the room. "Empty I guess."
"Hm, that is true. But, going back to your friends," Sapnap began, changing the subject almost immediately after it started, "are they cowards or something? I'm not that scary. Do they all have social anxiety or something? Like, jeez." Sapnap clicked his tongue, finishing his statement.
"I guess you could call them cowards. I mean, they have dealt with some pretty scary people and they 'don't want to take any chances' I guess" George said, using air quotes around 'don't want to take any chances'.
"But you also have to call them at some point just remember that, at least let them know you're alright. I don't want anyone thinking I kidnapped you or something " Sapnap jokes, laughing afterward.
"eh, I don't know. I mean, I don't think they actually care. Or well, enough to actually wanna know what happened. By now they would have texted me and I haven't gotten a text or a call yet." He pulled out his phone, pretending to look for a text from his 'friends'. George knew that he might not be able to keep up the act forever if Sapnap keeps asking such questions. He could only hope that Sapnap would change the subject again, to avoid himself having to come up with more lies to cover up his first one. After a moment of silence and George pretending to look for a text, he continued, "So, I doubt they'd care. They most likely thought that I went back home or something. So, it's whatever."
Sapnap nodded as George put his phone away.
"You know, if there were more than one of you I wouldn't be so nice about it."
"Huh?" George looked at Sapnap confused.
"If there had been more than one of you in my yard, I wouldn't be so nice about it," Sapnap repeated.
"Oh... Then how come you're being nice about, well, me being in your yard?" George questioned.
"Simple really. You're cute so I have no problems," Sapnap smiles while George blushed, turning his face away from Sapnap's.
"Is there anything else you want? Like a change of clothes? Wouldn't want my only 'guest' to be uncomfortable would we?" Sapnap asked. He really was genuinely concerned and didn't want him to be uncomfortable. Sure he had seen cute guys before, but George, he was one of the cutest if not the cutest. And this opportunity that life had given him, was the opportunity of a lifetime and he wasn't about to rid of it.
"I guess a change of clothes would be nice, since these are pretty dirty and somewhat torn," He looked at his clothing. "And it's fine, really. The only actual uncomfort I'm feeling is pain" He joked slightly, laughing a bit. Sapnap smiled and got up.
"A change of clothing it is," Sapnap said, leaving to the bedroom to find some suitable clothing for George, before realizing he should probably ask him what size he wore.
"Hey, pretty boy?" Sapnap said, coming back into the living room where George sat.
"You know you could just call me George right? And what is it?" George looked at him, questioningly.
"Nice name and all, but pretty boy is more suitable. Anyway, what size clothing do you wear?"
"Medium"
"Oh cool." Sapnap left the room again, leaving George by his lonesome.
George had to admit, it really was freezing in here. 'I know I cut off the power to the heater and all' George thought, moving his hands up and down his arms for some warmth, 'but, damn, can a house get any colder than this shit?'
George was taken out of his thoughts once more by a cough-like sound.
"Ack hem." Sapnap said, extending out the clothes to George.
"O-oh, sorry" George apologized and took the clothing. He stood up, wobbling a bit, before realizing how much it hurt to stand on his left foot. He then began standing on one foot, but having balance when you're in pain isn't all that simple.
Having realized that George was about to fall, Sapnap stabilized him.
"Need some help?" Sapnap smirked.
"Yeah..." George began, not expecting Sapnap to pick him up bridal style. Instinctively, he wrapped his arms around Sapnap's neck as he carried him to the guest room. Sapnap then set him down up-right on the edge of the bed and left the room for George to change.
Of course, while George was changing, Sapnap just had to sneak a little peak, wouldn't hurt and plus, it's not like he was hurting anyone. Sapnap ever so slightly creaked open the door, and looked at George.
'Damn he's really cute-' Sapnap thought. I mean, sure he knew George was cute, but never this cute.
He then closed the door and went back to the living room swiftly, pretending he had never been there. Sapnap's thoughts consumed him of how cute this boy was and whatnot. Soon enough, a voice called him and, Sapnap, after a few moments of George calling him like 10 times, finally snapped out of it.
A/N sorry I haven't been updating school and stuff. Uhh, hope you like the chapter- have a good morning, afternoon, night, or whatever it is for you. Bye Bye
