It had taken 6 hours but finally her phone started up again.
Gillian had called the phone store and even googled her problem but nobody knew what was wrong with it.

Gillian sat alone in her bedroom doing homework still pondering what might of happened.
Could it have a virus? She thinks.
What type of virus would do that to your phone?
She didn't have an answer.

Around 10 Gillian gave up on her math homework and got herself ready for bed.
She went into the bathroom to brush her teeth. She could hear the tv on in the living room. Her mom was probably asleep in front of it. That's where she usually fell asleep.

Most days Gillian would come down stairs in the morning and her mom would be stretched out asleep on the couch with an infomercial on.

"Goodnight mom." Gillian yelled down the stairs.
She could see her mom from the steps, she was laying on the couch and her only response was a yawn.

Before switching her bedside light off Gillian placed her phone on the night stand and then laid down to sleep. She was half asleep when a loud PING went off right in her ear waking her up instantly.

Bolting up right she grabbed her phone. She went straight to the text.

*Hello Gillian*

Gillian's breath quickened. They were still typing.

*I can see you*

Anxiety keeps into her system. Gillian looked into the darkness of her room and saw nothing unusual. She double checked her window and nothing was there.

*Who are you?*

Gillian had started pacing her room. She half expected for her message to be sent back to her but it didn't. Instead they started typing something.

*Quit pacing, don't want to wake up your mother do you? That would be a pity.*

-G.2

11:15

She had completely forgotten about her mother being asleep in the couch.

*Leave her alone*

-G

11:15

They didn't reply.
Gillian could feel herself shaking.
Calm down, just calm down. Delete the app, that's what you need to do.

Just as Gillian deleted it her phone got a notification saying she had a voicemail.

"Did you really think that would solve anything?" A robotic voice said. The voicemail ended. She checked the caller ID but it was her own number.

Exiting to home screen she saw the app had re-downloaded onto her phone, another text popped up.

*You can't get rid of me, I'm everywhere*

As if to prove it's point every light in the house turned on then off again. The tv's volume grew louder then quieter. Gillian could hear the microwave going off. She opened her door slightly to see if her mom was still asleep which she was.

*Stop it! Stop it now!*

-G

11:20

Everything turned off.

*Goodnight for now, sweet dreams Gillian. And a tip, close your closet door.*

-G.2

11:20

She heard the closet door creak open. She spun around and slammed it shut. Crying, Gillian curled up on her bed she rocked herself back and forth. She now has more about than a stupid virus in her phone.
