From the Shadows

Chapter . 3

******Jordan's POV*******

I struggle to wake up but eventually I open my eyes and I notice Vincent isn't in his bed. I check the time on the alarm clock next to my bed and I see it shows 10:65 am. "Wait what?" Since when is 10:65 an actual time. "Stupid clock." I say still a little confused.
Once I try to get out of bed I pull my legs to one side and once I try to stand up I immediately fall to the ground. It's as if I had no legs. "Oh crap." I say looking for my legs but only finding a mermaid tail. "Ugh, the struggle." I prop myself up on my elbows and fall dawn again but this time through the hotel's rug and into the Atlantic Ocean.
"Am I still dreaming?" I ask myself. I swim until I find the ship me and my twin inter would play in as kids. As I approach the ship I notice a faint light, once I get closer I see the faint light is coming from a glowing ruby stone. The soft red glow of the ruby quickly became a void of darkness sucking everything in, even me.
I swam as fast as I could but no matter how hard I moved my tail I would stay in the exact same spot. I quickly became tired and I was no longer able to resist the void and I, like the rest of the ship, got sucked in to a void of darkness.
I wasn't able to see but I did hear soft whispers in my ear. The voices seemed familiar but I couldn't put a face to them. One voice was particularly familiar. It was soft but stern. Just like Harmony. "HARMONY!" I tried to tell her name but nothing came out. When I opened my mouth I felt like I was chocking, chocking on darkness.
It was as if the voices were now inside of me, controlling me to open my mouth. The voices were pushing me to death. "Harmony please!" I said before I finally gave in and got lost in the shadows.

I don't know how long it's been, I feel numb. It feels like I'm floating here in this pit of shadows. I move my head to one side and see the faint red glow one last time. "I'm here Jordan, don't worry you'll see me again. I don't have much time but tell Vincent Dmitri has been awakened, he's determined to kill every human and every creature of the world. He's obsessed with power, he's wants to remake the inhabitants of the world. I don't know how to stop him but make sure everything you dream of from now on you write down. You're not only a mermaid but also a.....

"JORDAN!! Oh finally... I thought you died." said Vincent a worried expression in his face.
"Vincent we have to talk." I said sternly, just like Harmony.
