Jonathon couldn't sleep so he got up and rubbed the tears out of his eyes, he walked out the door and decided to explore.

Jonathon walked down hallways, he turned left, he turned right, he ended up in a training room, he had a look around but then he went back to exploring.

Jonathon found himself in a kitchen and realised that he was hungry, he looked inside the cupboard to find something to eat.

He found a can of spaghetti, Jonathon loved spaghetti it was one of his favourite meals, but Jonathon didn't know how to make spaghetti.

He looked at the back of the can, it read.

Easy cooking.
Open can,
Pour food inside of pot
Stir.
Enjoy.

Jonathon did as the can told him, he put the pot on the stove, he didn't know how hot it had to be so he put it on six.

Jonathon stirred the spaghetti until it seemed hot enough.

'I didn't know you could cook.'

Jonathon turned around to see Izzy standing at the doorway, Jonathon decided that he wasn't going to be shy anymore, he was going to be his normal awesome self.

'Well,' he said. 'You don't know a lot of things about me.'

The girl giggled.

'You do know it's burning, right? Isabelle said.

'Oh crap.' He said aloud and lifted the pot off the stove.

'Do you want some?' Jonathon asked.

'Yes please.' Isabelle replied.

Jonathon put some spaghetti into both bowels and handed one to Isabelle, Isabelle took the bowel and sat down.

Jonathon sat down beside her.

'So when did you learn how to make spaghetti.' Isabelle asked.

'Right now, you see I read how, off of a can, I think I have great potential, don't you?' Jonathon asked.

'Hmmm' Isabelle said thoughtfully. 'It could do with some mozzarella.'

'Coming right up.' Jonathon told her taking mozzarella out of the fridge and sprinkled some mozzarella onto her spaghetti.

Isabelle tasted the spaghetti and mozzarella.

'Perfect.' She giggled.

'Now seriously.' Jonathon told her. 'Why doesn't Alexander like me?'

Isabelle shrugged. 'He doesn't like new people, but he'll warm up to you.'

'We need a shorter name for you.' Isabelle told him changing the subject.

'Okey.' Jonathon said curiously.

'Do you like John?' Isabelle asked

Jonathon shook his head.

'What about Nate?' She asked taking a large fork full of spaghetti.

Jonathon shook his head again.

Isabelle named a lot of nicknames but Jonathon said no to all of them she named stuff like; Joe, Jay, Jona, Jonat, Jonan, Jonty, Nate, Jonny, Jon-Jon, Jody, Nay-Nay and nath. Isabelle sat thinking for a while eating her spaghetti.

'Well if your name is Jonathon Christopher we could call you by your initials; J.C.' Isabelle told him.

'Ive gotta be honest Izzy, I like that, I like that a lot.' Jonathon told her.

'Ok then J.C, we should probably finish up are spaghetti and head to bed.' Isabelle told him.

Jonathon smiled and nodded his head.

'What's going on here?' Said a familiar voice. Jonathon turned around to see Alexander in the doorframe.

'Nothing Alec, J.C just made som spaghe-.' Izzy was trying to say.

'Who in the name of the angel is J.C.' Alexander asked

'I am.' Jonathon told him.

Alexander rolled his eyes.

'Go back to bed.' He told them.

'Oh, my dear Alexander.' Jonathon said wrapping an arm around him, Alexander tensed up. 'You seem stressed why don't you sit down and try some of J.Cs' famous spaghetti.'

Alexander didn't say anything but sat down. Jonathon took out an extra bowel and poured some spaghetti inside.

'Do you like mozzarella?' Jonathon asked.

Alexander nodded his head.

'Here you are.' Jonathon said handing him his bowel.

'Not bad.' Alexander told him.

'See Izzy I knew I had great potential.' Jonathon told her.

'I said not bad, I didn't say amazing.'

'I know, but Izzy said perfect.' Jonathon explained.

Izzy laughed and even Alexander started laughing.

Jonathon was proud of himself for making Alexander laughed, which five minutes ago Jonathon thought was impossible.

They ate spaghetti and talked until they were so tired that they had to go to bed or they would have fallen asleep in there chairs.

They walked up the stairs and down the hallways until they reached Isabelle's room, they said goodnight to her and then they made there way to Alexander's room.

'Alexander?' Jonathon asked.

'What.' He replied.

'I like you, your cool.' Jonathon told him.

Alexanders face lit up.

'Your cool too.' He told Jonathon.

'Goodnight Alexander.'

'You can call me Alec.' Was the last thing he said before walking into his room and going to sleep

Jonathon walked towards his room, delighted with himself, he forgot all about his father and the blood and the kind warlock, all he could think about was how he'd made friends.
