after cam left the room which mattia was in the young girl thought that she would feel better but all she felt was guilt and sadness. how could she leave him like that ? all she wanted to do was turn around and hold him in her arms saying she didn't care anymore all she wanted was him again.
mattia sat there taking in what had just happened, "goodbye mattia" the scene replayed in his head like a drug he couldn't stop going back to.he loved her and now he knew she loved him so why is she not here right now? why didn't she stay ? anger began to grow inside of him. he knew how bad he screwed up, but then why did she still love him ? this made him confused and broken, the young boy wished she didn't tell him that cam still loved him. he broke down again, a familiar feeling for him now.
"im going to sleep" cam muttered entering the house loud enough for her mother to hear from the kitchen. she trudged up the stairs , she pulled off her dress and wiped off her maybe before slipping into an oversized t-shirt and some shorts.
the light coming from the window slits that weren't closed properly by the curtains made her room brighten slightly. after hours of staring at the ceiling thinking of everything she eventually fell asleep.
mattia couldn't sleep, every time he closed his eyes all he could see was her. he couldn't handle balling up all of his feelings, he pulled himself up lout of bed and chucked himself to his desk. he pulled out a piece of parchment and began writing, after at least an hour of re-writing ,scribbling out stupid words or failing time and time again. he was done, he had a letter confessing what he wanted and needed.
it was around 3:26am mattia had driven done to cams house, he knew he couldn't wake her up he had to leave as quickly as he arrived. the tall boy placed the letter down on the doorstep and left.
he knew cam loved that kind of stuff, she loved the old days when people would write love letters and would always make mattia watch old movies with her. he had to do this. this was the last goodbye. mattia had to let her go.

cam woke up feeling numb, she pulled on some grey sweats and walked downstairs chucked herself next to her younger sister maya.
