A world with you

A mysterious visit...

The castle was so huge even my eyes flustered around each and every corner. But..I kept looking at my branded arm, with the family crest deeply soared into it. 

"CHOP CHOP! WE HAVE WORK TO DO!" one of the maids recalled. I shrieked, sighing and moving back to the tiresome work ahead of me. I heard some kids laughing from the window next to a shrivelled glass to my right. I strolled closer and looked out...

Kids played while a girl stood alone, as if cast away from the group.. I sighed and went back to my work. I still could hear their voices faintly in the warm meadow breeze... 

"Heyy! Your turn to catch me Lucifier!" A child cried pointing at Lucifier, a child with a ball in his hand

"Nooo Its Cassy's turn!" Lucifier proclaimed, looking at the isolated group.

"But.. shes too weak to even run! Haha! Papa says we should stay away from weak people like her or else she would eat our brains" the child teased.

I glanced out from the window again, stressed and angry at the same time. The little girl, called Cassy got pushed and shoved about while groaning. Slowly, my hands clenched to form fists..

I opened the window and jumped out like a mad man...

THUMP! 

I JUST RAN FOR IT! Grabbing the girl by her arm and shielding her

"HUH-??"

Get. away from her

The girl breathed into my arms, cuddling my embrace. I grabbed my hair ribbon and made it look threatening as if a warrior ready to kill anything-

"How dare a maid like you speak to royalty like us" Lucifer claimed, just these words made me gulp but i stood firm. 

"Don't Bully people who are under u, Be nicer"

Lucifer screamed in anger and grabbed a rock from the dirt. I turned, shielding the girl again. I could feel her eyes looking towards me and shaking almost. "Its okay.. I'm here" I said, smiling. 

The rock flew straight for me, i braced myself for the pain which would overwhelm my back

"Now Now.. Isn't that a bit too far dear brother~"

I didn't feel any pain, i turned to find a man in front of me, with royal cloaks and braided hair curled to the finest texture.  A pallid crest marked across the curls with a beautiful golden finish looking so delicate it would break with a  touch of a finger.

Lucifer shrieked "B-brother... Im sorry"

"Phew" I sighed

The man turned, glancing at me awaiting a "Thank you"

"Uhh- Thank you!" I flustered up.

"Haha! Nice to meet you Maid, I'm the 2nd prince Ainchase Tachibana" 

His features were sharp and he looked just like robin-   "Ah do you know of a Prince called Robin?"

"Oh! That's the 3rd prince Robin Tachibana"

I smiled, "How many princes are there"

Ain sighed, looking down. "Only 3" 

I softly caress the girl and smiled, "You okay?"
She gave a nod, tears in her eyes. My fingers washed away those tears, smiling. "Don't worry about people like them, focus on your health okay?" With that she walked off, gently stroking her toy as if comforting it. 

"The way you comfort children is rather cute honestly" 

"A-ah! Thank you", i reply while dusting myself off. Ain helps me and cleans the lace of my back, I softly get embarrassed and jump forward. "?!" 

"You're from the other world are u not?" He smirked letting go of the lace. My eyes widened, my heart throbbed...

How did he know of that conspiracy.. "What do you mean by 'other world'?" I stuttered, holding my breathe. 

Ain smirked, lifting his head "Hah I meant the maid class world" 
"O-oh!" I sighed in relief, giving an awkward laugh. 

Ain turned slowly walking off, "Take care and don't get into trouble Ojou-Chan"

Theres something strange about this Prince- Pfft what am i saying?! The whole royal family is strange. 

I tied my hair up gracefully and went back to cleaning, all tattered in my newly ironed uniform. "Jeez, how much cleaning even is there", the softly trimmed grass gave the courtyard a sweet aroma of honey tinted with cinnamon sticks. Everything was so royal about this palace but the strange normality of the royal family tainted it abit..

-2 hours later-

"Ah~ Finally did all my chores!" I started stretching so slowly it gave me the most active feeling, until- 

Grrrrrr-  

The sound of rustling metal echoed in the structure, giving out a displeasing vibration all across the yard..
