Ok so this is a “Random short story” about Vampire the Masquerade. I don’t know if I’ll be revisiting this story. Who knows. Maybe. I have used the club a few times in other stories and games I ran.

----

Sin Night club, Los Vegas

Sin is not what most humans would think of as a vampire club. Nope it looked like any trendy night club that they all go to on the strip in downtown Vegas. Just a bit better staffed and with a lot of Goth men and woman roaming around the club that seemed just a bit too Goth to be real.

“Welcome sir, may I get you a drink?” A young woman from behind the bar asked as Devin sat at the bar.

Devin is a well dressed man always in a suit of silk. He seems to always be in a black or dark blue. His skin might have been dark at one time in his life, when he still breathed air. But now he had a dusky hue mostly olive color. He had this Latin accent.

“Beth, I think a bit of red will do.” He said to his barmaid and looked out at his club.

The barmaid smiled at her boss and ran off to get what he asked for.

“Prince,” A soft female voice fades out of the shadows to stand behind Devin.

“Lela, if I told you this once then I have said it too many times before, never use any powers within my club,” Devin growled at the woman as he turned to look at her.

“Sorry, my Prince,” she bowed her head to him showing she was far below him and she would do as he asked of her.

Devin rolled his eyes at this show and knows much better then to believe that she was anything like that, Lela was not meek, and she was very strong and knew a dozen ways to kill a man or Kindred without a single thought what so ever.

“Lela what do you want?” He asked her knowing she would stay like this all night if he did not deal with her fast.

“Prince the animal are sniffing into my sisters areas and I wish to make them see the light of their ways.” Lela looked up at him and smiled as she said this.

Devin rolled his eyes at this. Her joke about showing the Gangrel the light was a true death to any Kindred and she knew this.

“Lela, no I’ll speak with them and make sure they know where Sophie’s area is and where theirs is.” He said as he looked out into the club.

“Thank you my prince,” She said before walking back a few steps and fading into the crowed.

Devin looked back to see Beth as she sat his glass of blood wine on the bar for him. “Thank you, Beth,” He said as he took the glass and sips the wine.

Beth watched this and blinked before backing a step away from him to return to work.

“Beth,” He said to stop her.

She looked back at him. “Yes, sir?” She said clearly scared now.

“I smell the fear you have pouring off of you now dear, maybe you need to come up to my office to calm down for a bit,” He offered her.

Her eyes grew large and she took in a deep breath before she looked around. “Who will watch the bar, sir?” she asked.

Devin smiled at Beth. “So sweet and thoughtful, Ben.” He said and within the space of a blink of an eye Ben was standing next to James.

“My Prince,” Ben said with a clear accent in his voice.

“Watch the bar as I take care of Beth’s needs,” Devin said as he holds out a hand for Beth to take.

“Yes sir,” Ben said and took the empty glass of blood wine with him behind the bar as Beth walked with Devin though the crowed to the employees only door leading to James’s office.

Ben watched his boss leave with the new girl. He had no doubt that if he seen Beth again she would not be alive.

Devin led Beth up a flight of stairs to his office. She had been here a few times and each time she had the best sex she has ever had in her young life of twenty two. Or so she thought. Truth is always in question when dealing with a hungry Lasombra who knew a thing or two about tweaking a mind when he felt like it.

But tonight there would be no tweaking he would turn her or kill her one. It was really up to her. He would never force the embrace onto anyone who did not wish it.

“Sit down on the sofa Beth,” Devin said in such a way that Beth just did this without thinking about it. In his private chambers the rules of not using powers so anyone else could not see was not in play. So he was not holding back as he let go with a few little mind tricks he knew and loved. “I will ask you a few questions and if you answer right you will enjoy tonight greatly and will come to enjoy your new life. If you displease me with how you answer my questions then I will be sad but we will not speak with each other ever again. Or third if by some means you convince me that you wish to stay the same, you will be allowed to do just that.” He said as he looked into her eyes as if reading her mind. He wasn’t it was all just a cleaver act to keep his pray off balance when he played with them this way. Oh sure he was going to feed from her one way or the other. But the rest was up in the air. If he liked her he would turn her. If she pissed him off then she’d be dead. There was always the chance that he liked what she asked so well that he’d give her what she asked for.

Devin loved to play this game with his meals.

“Sir?” Beth asked as she was starting to get scared once again. She knew what he was and was fine with working with a vampire. She had to drink his blood the first night she had meet him three years ago. She knew that there was a allotted time that the girls worked here. She knew she was coming to an end of her time. “Sir, I don’t wish to leave you… I love you…” She whispered as she looked up at him.

Devin smiled sadly down at her. “Yes my dear I know you do and I love you as well, but once I embrace you, you’ll have your own feeling again so I need to make sure you are really ready for this,” He said as he ran his hands along her cheeks and looked into her eyes.

“Ok Sir, I trust you will do what is best for me,” She meekly said as she looked up into his eyes waiting for what he was planning for her.

Devin sighs as he leaned in and bite her neck. She let a moaning gasp as she melted into his arms. This feeling felt much better then any sex could ever feel for her.

Later.

“So, we looking for a new barmaid?” Ben asked as Devin sat down at the bar.

“Yes, start looking now,” Devin said before turning away from Ben.

Some just won’t take the embrace once they regain their own mind back and lean what has been done to them over the years. Beth freaked out and cried that he used her and wished to die as she refused to drink his blood. This has happened countless times for Devin that he found it hard to think about it past it happening. But he also knew he needed to feel bad about this or he would lose something of his human self.
