I wondered where Aaron was. Hoping that my dad didn't find him before i did. I checked my phone to see i got a message. It read "Hey it's Aaron, i left early this morning so you don't have to worry. I'll give you the money at school today. Thanks for letting me stay." Hopefully no one saw him leave. It was pretty early. 7Am. This meant my dad wasn't awake. I went downstairs and made some breakfast. Luckily i didn't make a mess. And i didn't make any noise. I made some eggs and poured a glass of milk. After i finished, i washed the dishes. My mom came downstairs. "Good morning, Buttercup!" She said while smiling. "Good morning mom!" I said.

My mother was the only good parent i had. When it was only me and her, i felt normal. When my dads around me, he's always complaining about me not killing people. I know. I'm in mafia and your supposed too. But i don't know how to tell the difference between guilty and innocent people. Maybe just like i don't understand Aaron. He's rude and disrespectfully women. But yesterday was different. Ugh stop think about it.

I went upstairs and put on my uniform. I never do anything with my hair but today i did. I decided to curl my hair. Pinning it up. I felt pretty. I never feel pretty. I waved goodbye to my mom. Thankfully i didn't see my dad that morning. Lil pulled up, "Dude, you know that new guy sam. He asked for your number!" Lilith explained. "WHAT" i said loudly. "i gave it to him. Hahahaha" lil began laughing. I felt confused. Was i supposed to feel happy? I felt butterfly's in my stomach.

We got to school. I walked into class, sitting next to Aaron. "I like your hair." Aaron said while smirking. wow. Did he just compliment me? Why? Is he going to start being nice to me? I didn't respond back to him since i noticed Sam walk in. He waved at me. Obviously i waved back. I saw Aaron roll his eyes. Which made me laugh. "Alright class! We are going to pick partners for this semester. Since i'm going to be nice, you can pick. Lil partnered up with her boyfriend obviously. I just sat down. Not knowing what to do.

Sam already partnered up with the quarterback. I think Aaron noticed because he walked away from the schools hottest girl Veronica. "U need a partner?" Aaron asked me. I nodded. "Wanna be partners?" He asked smirking. Aaron was taller than Sam. Around 6'8. He fit perfectly next to me. I'm 5'9. He has green eyes. Brighter thanks Sams. He definitely works out. But not too much. "yea, sure." i said while closing my lips together awkwardly.

He sat down next to me. Mr. Wilson handed out our packets for the assignment. I knew all this work would be on me. Since Aaron does nothing. "Alright, are you going to start the model and i can start the example?" Aaron said. "Wait, Is Aaron Jacobs going to do his work?" i said while smiling at him. "shut up" Aaron said while smiling.

After school, sam came up to me. "I was wondering, if you wanna go to this party with me?" Sam asked. "Party?" i asked. "Yea, the one at Aaron's house." "Oh, yea i would love to come!" i said joyfully. "Great! It's a date!" Sam walked away. Wait, did he say date? Fuck. It's at Aaron's house. That shouldn't be awkward, right?

My favorite guard, Rodger was working tonight. So, i knew he would let me out. As i left, i got a ride with Sam. It was silent the whole time. Which was kind of awkward. I wore a tight red mini dress. Which weirdly i felt good in. "You look good." Sam said. "oh, thanks, you do to." complimenting him.

We walked out of the car. I was surprised to see Aaron's house. It was honestly pretty big. I thought gang members had shitty houses. I almost forgot that his parents own the gang. Sam grabbed my hand while we walked inside. That made me smile. His touch didn't make me feel anything. Unlike Aaron's. I have to stop comparing him to Aaron.

I looked around to find Lilith. "Hey!" I said to Lil. "Omg heyy!! Did you see Aaron? He's making out with Veronica." Lil said making a weird expression. I turned over to see it happen. My facial expression dropped. I don't know why but it made me sad. "gross" I said making the same expression she had. We both laughed at each other. Sam was talking with Lils boyfriend. They had a good relationship. Lil pulled me to the bathroom. "I have something to tell you." Lil said in a serious tone. I made a worried face. "I've been lying to you."

"what do you mean" i asked. "Me and Jack aren't actually dating. We are just pretending so no one knows." "Knows wha?" "That were both gay. Adeline, i'm gay. I like girls. I'm sorry i didn't tell you sooner but i didn't know how you would react." Lil said while looking down. I gave her a hug. "Dude! Why do you think that? I'm happy your honest with me! And i'm proud of you" i said while giving her a smile.
