Toxic Love

chapter 1

(1 missed call from Jungkook)
(4 missed calls from Yoongi)

(Incoming call: Jungkook)

"Hello?"
"You haven't woken up?! Hurry up and get your ass here!"
"Huh? What? Why?"
"We have to take the exams stupid!"
"Ugh... okay!" *hangs up*

Soojin quickly dropped her phone on the bed and got up to get ready. She was ready to leave but before she left she went into to the kitchen to get a piece of bread but she saw her mother, stepfather, and stepsister. "What a day!" She thought to herself. Her mother looked at her but soothing ignored and turned to head to the door, but her stepfather spoke.
"Is that any way to greet your family?" He said not looking at soojin. But those words made her laugh.
"Family? I never had one. I raised myself." She said chuckling as she walked to the door.
" what a rude child you have honey." Soojin's stepfather said
"I'm sorry, she isn't used to living with others." Her mother said
"Well she has to get used to it. Don't you think? She even has a lock on her door, like it's her own apartment." Soojin hated this girl, Kang Mina.
"I do what I want. Whether there's a lock on my door it's obviously for reason. Don't you think?" Soojin said not wanting to hear anymore she walked out hearing her mother yell her name. Soojin's life was miserable, her own mother blamed her for her father leaving to go to another woman. She never treated soojin with affection or love, she never taught her how to control her anger or know when it's okay to say something. This is why Soojin has no respect for anyone living with her in that house. Everyone treats her like an outsider, but not her two best friends. They care for her and have helped control her feelings. They never let anyone hurt Soojin.

At school~
Soojin made it to school and had to climb over the gate to get in the school building. She climbed over and made it to the other side. The late girl ran in and soon made it to class. As Soojin walked in she saw Yoongi and in the corner she saw Jungkook flirting with another girl. She walked past them and walked straight to Yoongi with a big smile.
"Hi!" She said
" you're finally here." He said smiling at her
Jungkook noticed Soojin and Yoongi talking and decided to join leaving the girl he was flirting with all alone.
"Hey, why'd you wake up late again?" Jungkook said sitting next to Yoongi.
"I just slept late." Soojin said yawning
"Ahh okay. Well then sleep earlier." Jungkook said getting up and walking out.
"Is she transferring here?" Yoongi asked
" yeah, I left early so I wouldn't have to hear her complain over and over." She said
"Kang Mina... I never liked her. She is pretty but she's just annoying.." Yoongi said leaning back on his chair.
Soojin didn't really care about it but what did worry her was what if Jungkook fell in love with her stepsister? Yes, soojin has a crush on Jungkook for years already. No one knows but she plans on telling him how he feels about her. What she doesn't know is that Yoongi has a crush on her. 

At lunch~
The three best friends walked into the cafeteria and got lunch. As they walked to their table Mina appeared out of nowhere. She walked up to Jungkook and started flirting with him. Of course, Jungkook being himself went along with it. This made soojin upset but she tried her best not to show it. Not wanting to argue with anyone she got up, threw away her tray of food that wasn't touched and walked out of the cafeteria. Yoongi and Jungkook saw that she left but decided it was best to let her be.
Soojin felt hurt but didn't want to think about it anymore. She walked in the classroom and put her down to take a nap.
School ended~
Everyone was packing their things to go home and started to leave . Soojin decided to finally let Jungkook know about her feelings. So she turned to him and asked.
"Hey Jungkook?" She said
"Yeah?" Jungkook asked but felt weird because Soojin never talks to him like that.
"Can you walk with me today?" Soojin asked but she also felt weird for talking to him like that, but went on with it. Jungkook nodded and said goodbye to Yoongi. As they were walking, soojin finally stopped and it made Jungkook look at her.
"What's wrong?" He asked her for suddenly stopping.
"I-I have something to say to you." Soojin was so nervous
"Yeah? Tell me."  Soojin looked at him and said
"I- I like you!"
